CA is not easy, primarily because you also need to work as an articled clerk in a CA firm. You will get a nominal stipend for that. On top of that the CA results are not done in a transparent fashion, with accusatons of raising the passing standards arbitrarily. Like almost everything here, you can get around that by registering with a firm and recording bogus attendance in connivance wth the firm. If you want to do this the right way, my advice is do not join a big firm, or most of your time will be spent in work, and you will not be able to prepare for the CA exams. Btw be ready to dump your ethics as a CA; the Indian corporate and audit scene is a trail of slush money hidden under layers of paper work. If you cannot play ball, you will be cast away.

CA course is for nerd fu**s who have no life and will never be able to run a big business ever in their lives. Most CA losers, I know of, have never thought of dating a girl. Go get an MBA fool. It'll stand you in better stead than some stupid Chartered Accountancy.

CA is a difficult course thought some people say it's not.. To qualify as an Chartered Accountant; *Enrol for Common Proficiency Test (CPT)(**Includes negative marking) *Appear and pass in CPT *Enrol for Group I or Group II or for both Groups of IPCC *Successfully complete 9 months of Study Course from the date of IPCC registration *Successfully complete Orientation Course of one week spanning 35 hours *Successfully complete 100 hours Information Technology Training (ITT) *Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years, on passing either Group I or both the Groups of IPCE *Appear in CA Final Examination during last 6 months of articled training *Pass Both Groups of CA Final Examination *Successfully complete the Course on General Management and Communication Skills (15 days) *Enrol as a member of ICAI and designate as "Chartered Accountant" So these are the examinations and procedures to become a CA. And the main thing is if you fail in any of these, you need to start it again from first. In 90's, if 100 people appeared for the examination, hardly 1 or 2 among them would pass that too on the passing line. Later because of the growing population the number of passing people have increased.. Result of the year 2011 is just 15.78% passed among all the students.. here's the link for more details-http://www.caclubindia .com/news/pass-percentage-of-r ecently-declared-ca-results-67 28.asp So ultimately it's NOT AT ALL AN EASY TASK.. you really need to work very hard for this and don't take it too easy..
