Philippine president vows punishment in bus hijack, Senate opens investigation

The Philippine president vowed Thursday to punish authorities who bungled a bus hostage crisis that killed eight Hong Kong tourists, toughening his stance after Asian powerhouse China expressed outrage and political rivals pummelled him with criticism.

i send my sympathy and condolence to the family of the victims of the hostage drama occur in manila last august 23.. to the chinese government,please dont act like you're part of this tragic event. remember that your people lived here,make a living here,act like they own our country,meaning,we help you and you help us but please dont make us feel like a criminal.. not all filipinos are like mendoza,remember that we accepted you here.. a little consideration is good.. and please please live this issue to the filipinos and hong kong people,dont get in the picture.. we dont need that now.. as well as your comments on how we are as a country..

Sweetheart, they don't just act like they own the country. The Chinese DO own anything worthwhile in your country. If the Chinese buried someone who killed Philippinos under the natonal flag like a national hero, how would you react? If the preseident of China posed at the murdersscene and laughed for the camera, how would you react? I do business in both countries. In one I am treated a lot better. No, you do not accept others. You do not respect the jobs they bring to the country, you not do you respect their lives. I have had two friends murdered, both by corrupt officials, both who bought jobs to the PI, jobs that are now lost. The problem as I see it is yes, you do have others like Mendoza!
