We need to promote HK culture and Cantonese Language

I'm sick and tired how people in the world especially those in the West think that all Chinese people speak Mandarin and that the center of Chinese culture is in Beijing. Most of them never been to China and when they go to a Chinatown, they try to speak Mandarin to mostly Cantonese speakers and start talking about North China, which most Southern Chinese don't give a damn about. HK is the spiritual and cultural homeland to most Guangdong Chinese, even though we don't have a home there. We are also the most prevalent group of the Chinese overseas and we need to project our culture properly and not let ignorance ruin our image.

Cantonese is also Chinese, please keep an open mind.

Yes, Cantonese is Chinese. But the world think overseas Chinese is the same with Northern Chinese. It is not. Northern Chinese have small presence outside of China.
