There are a lot of steps. I'm not the best person to tell you them all but you need to make sure that your lawyer writes a good waiver. Mine was very long. We detailed all of my suffering and had lots of proofs behind it. For example I stated that I could not live in Honduras due to the crime rate, and then had proof from the CIA's website about how high the crime rates are. You have to back everything up. Also, consider having a second opinion on you waiver once it is written. It is the final and most important part of the process. Our process has taken about two years. The waiting list is going faster now however so it probably won't take that long. Also, you may be able to go through your whole process here in the US since Obama said that he was going to change the policy.

Does anyone know if its possible to submit another 601 waiver? My first waiver was denied do to lack of evidence and I didn't have any money at the time the appeal was due? What should I do?

Yeah you should just email them and asks them about it.. you should be able to open up your case again.. its will cost a lot though but worth it.

my wife is in honduras, we filed a 601 in may got it approved on aug 4th, still waiting for news from thee emmbassy. from what i know since hers was a voluntary departure she doesnt need a pardon waiver or to pay a penalty fee..most important tho is to get God to help u.to do that u have to get close to God...he can make the impossible possible.
