Therefore, this cause trouble in our relationship. He would always want to know about me or where I am going. However, when I would ask him. He would either argue or chance the subject and try to accuse me of trying to cause trouble by just asking a questions.
Please explain Haitian men act this way?
Im haven a simler.problem. But,we.arentin a relationship. Althought it may seem like it at times. We been friends for a little over four months. Im very much confuessed. Cause we started out with it being a sereat, then he made the decision tell others and let it be know we were dealing with each other. Its kind of hard to explain. Like I got used to one way, then.he ups amf changes. He says its surprising me. All I know how to do is keep my guard up. At timesits so hard, but, I know dat I dnt.want to be hurt. Im beganning to care about him. Just not sue if I should let things evole on their own or make the first move]
I am madly in love with a Haitian...guess it runs in the culture. Mine does the exact same thing.

I have been in rltnshp with caucasion, af amer, and the last one was haitian. Ladies: Men are going to be men. It don't matter what nationality they are, if they want to cheat they're gonna cheat. But culture does mean a lot. I heard the stereotype of haitian men and chose to ignore it because I luv haitian people. Well this guy proved everything I heard to be right. He was controlling, never willing to admit to his wrong, no compromising, cheating but accusing me, concerned about his needs being met more than mines. In the beginning he charmed me by being so romantic that I felt so in love. But slowly the real him came out. Any man can have these traits but I think the haitian culture views woman to be submissive so that's why they treat us like we are so much lower. Anyway we are no longer together.

I met a Haitian man, he told me he was single. One day I overheard his conversation and figured out that he had another married lady pregnant. By this point, I already fell for him. He wants me to accept that fact that he has a married, pregnant gf even because he treats me good and spends most of his time with me. He treats me good and the sex is great, but he is a little possesive. One time I tried to break it off and he showed up at my job. He is an ok person, but I am finding out he is controlling and somewhat of a liar. But most importantly he expects me to accept him having someone else in his life. i don't know how to ecplain it

I am married to a Haitian man who already had his citizenship when we met and I LOOOOOOVES mines. All of his brothers have dated American women they say it's not about the race I am around a lot of Haitian people and these men don't care about where you are from and they all have citizenship, my good friend is American and her husband is Haitian and he is good to her also.

I 100% feel you mines really treats me like i'm a goddess, which he calls me sometimes lol. Me and my hubby(Haitian)are the same way we will have each others back in a minute. When it comes to food I am a soul food cooker also so he cooks his food for me, which I love and I cooks mines for him, which he loves. I think the Haitian race loves rice every time I go to a Haitian party or affair there are at least 4 types of rice on the menu.

Slightly contrary, I date a Haitian woman. I am a lesbian. She is a 'stud'...meaning she is the masculine one in our relationship, dresses in men's clothing. We have been dating for less than a year and alot of the controlling and deceitful comments sound like her.....smh

Im Third generation German, I met this beautiful Haitian single mom of one online last year. She's the best thing that happened to me other than my children. She's treated me better in the past year than my ex wife had treated me in the nine years we were married. She's very respectful, fun, smart, loving, great to both my kids and her son. She's also very tough and love by both family and friends on her side and mine...she has natural curly hair and she was born in Haiti. She's beyond clean and wear the most expensive stuffs. She's not with me for GC or money. She's left NY to move in NC with me. She's shSowing the true meaning of love, respect, kindness and empowerment. I love her a whole lot, she's not loud.

I agree with you that nationality doesn't count. As long as the Haitian man and woman read the Holy Bible together in their language. Only if English is not their best subject.

I've dated two Haitian men. One I've known for over 10 years and never seen him get angry or raise his voice at me. The other I just met recently and it's the same thing. Very sweet, easy to smile, and come on - that Creole/French accent? Just mind blowingly sexy! I have taken notice that they seem to like breasts and performing orally on women. I say take a chance and date him. Whether a man is Haitian, Jamaican, African, or American each person has had their own influences and experiences in life that guide them. You have to do what any other single woman has to do. Take it slowly and see how it goes. Wish you could provide us with an update!! Have fun!

As i have posted before, all people are created equal. I am a black woman not that it has any importance on who i am, but that my character is what should matter most. I am very saddend that after all this time people still hold a big emphasis on race. I want to reply to the woman saying that hatian women and men are ugly, have you ever took the time to get to know any? I really dont think so, I have been fortunate to get to know people of all races and culutures and the key is to respect, learn and understand people. I really feel sorry for your ignorance and misinformation on people.

As a woman who was born in haiti and habe been living here for 27 years. haitian men are like every other men. they can be very romantic or rough. they love their women way younger than they are. They are providers. They can be skirts chaser. The party types love their mistresses and it is acceptable by the society at large. Hopefully you find one of the good one. good luck. I dated all types of nationalities. as long as you treat me right.

I hate Haitians they are controlling and aggressive. My cousin is dating one and I hate him he treats him bad and is very controlling. Haitians hate themselves cause they are failures and poor cause their mentality is close minded .
