Retain an immigration attorney, be prepared with birth certificates, proof of paternity if you're not married, felony records or clearance from Guatemala, local and country wide, and PLENTY of money, especially if he's already been deported. You will need to apply for a K3 VISA, which is a fiance petition. After 3 years of seperation(I traveled there to marry him and returned with our son) and $8500, he was able to return.

no they cannot become a citizen automatically....you have to petition for them to become a permanent resident first and once they become a permanent resident and meet the requirements they can apply for citizenship.
first step is to apply for an I-130 petition which will be found on the uscis website at www.uscis.gov ....then it will go through a process..
1st step.uscis processes the application
2nd step. NVC pre-process the application
3rd step. the NVC forwards the application to a U.S. consulate or embassy overseas from her home country.
-then they interview her;and if she passes she will come on immigrant visa and she will enter the u.s and wait for her green card for two months.
I know that uscis process the application for two months then after that it goes randomly..good luck

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Libra

It's Christmas Eve and you're running around like a scalded cat. However, it will do you no end of good if you can find a few moments here and there for some quiet contemplation. You might want to visit a place that's sacred to you, or take a walk in some beautiful surroundings so you can commune with nature. You need to feel that you're connecting with something bigger than yourself.
