Hi
I would just like to say that your all very strange people, lol who think that the world revolves around your little rock.

You all have huge issues with people of other nations, you are the most unfriendly people i have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to meet, practically borderlining on being just pure racist.

This is coming from sumone who lived there for over 20 years, i have now left Gibraltar for good the best thing i ever did.

Gibraltarians havenít the time of day for anyone who isnít typically Gibraltarian, the women especially seem to think that they are the be all and end all when they are clearly not.

If your not wearing a ton of gold around your neck, which frankly just looks plain stupid anyway, you donít stand a chance.

Please take alook around girls open your eyes god damn it there is more to a guy than how much gold he has duh!

You all live in the past, your trends and musical tastes are just plain silly, u have no taste what so ever.

I know i sound extremely negative but since i lived there for so long im sick and tired of holding this all in and im sure there are others who feel the same.

Why donít you lot expand your minds and open yourself up to the possibility that there is a world out there and it is bigger than Gibraltar.

Perhaps maybe then, more people wouldnít have bad things to say about the place, its a shame because the place itself is nice just the people that inhabit it.

Now im not saying its all doom and gloom because i believe that there is still hope.

JUST BE NICER TO PEOPLE WHO DONT NECESARRY THINK OR SEE THINGS THE WAY YOU DO, AT THE END OF THE DAY THERE IS MORE OF US THAN THERE IS OF YOU.
NUFF SAID.

Good Luck

Gibraltarians never made me feel welcome when i lived there, they made me feel like an outsider, i spent countless days months putting up with it.
I was denied the right to feel an equal and for what reasons?
Ive never harmed a Gibraltarian ever, im not saying that everyone in gibraltar is like that just the majority it seems.
Sumthing has to be said about this because it affects people emotionally, they feel under appreciated and worthless.
I can garantee that there are others who feel the same.

yep, they are a funny type of people, and I have to say rather racist towards any other non-gib person.

They remind me of a small Morman town in midwest America where there suck in the past.

Its a shame beacause its quite a nice place, if only they would move into the 21 century rather than the 1800's

Saying all this, i enjoyed my many years in Gib and i still have good friends there, unfortunatly unless your born there you are treated with total disrespect..... what a shame

i have to agree with erm...

the majority of people in gib, especially young are very judgemental, rude and narrow minded also have massive egos for no reason and a stinkin attitude.... remember im talkin in general...mostly about the quijo bruthas...

i too lived there for years and only had a real handful of friends ...also generally people were not particularly friendly ...i almost began to get a complex that i was a not very nice person....

i moved to a city in the uk a few years ago and people are so different here ...open minded, interesting and they will give you the time of day... i have so many friends from around the world now...aussies, south africans, polish, english... also wat i dislike in gib is the lack of open space to go mountain biking in, and to get away from it all.... also if your with your out with some friends and you all want to go home ...you can turn the music right up without la mari next door complaining or the police coming round...

free and open your mind gib ...

get with the 21st century embrace people for what they are and dont not do that just cos your idiot friend thinks there not cool

Hi Pocholo
The beaches are terrible in Gibraltar, we all had to leave every other weekend to get away from them.lol
Now listen im not going to go on and on because it is boring, but you lot have to realise that it is incredibly dissapointing to see the way you treat people.
If you, yourselfs were visiting another country and were treated as second class citizens, im sure you lot would be the first to kick up a fuss.
Talk about having to watch your everyword too, on many occasions i had to keep my opions to myself and just shut up and put up.
Ever heard of freedom of speech?
I say this from experiance, ive seen how Gibraltarians react when sumone has sumthing bad to say about them and it doesnt coincide with there own beliefs.
Can u imagine if u were told u werent good enough, not smart enough to hold a decent conversation well im telling you this now, belive me ive met many gibraltarians whos IQ i would have to say is below 10.
Perhaps when its all said and done, it all boils down to being educated and we can all safly say that there are far too many people in gibraltar who arent educated enough to broaden there outlook on things. shame shame

Gibraltarians are brainwashed. They live in a tax haven. They know it, but find the term offensive.'Offshore Finance Centre' is more pc down there. They don't elect their Governor. They know it, but find the term 'colony' offensive as well.'British Overseas Territory' are the suitable words instead.
The neighbouring country is always to blame for everything. No matter Franco has been dead for the last 35 years already. They know it as well, but the word 'democracy' can't be fully applied to Spain. Whatever.
I find funny as well how prone are they to excuse themselves for speaking 'bad spanish'(regardless of being almost native, with a very *strong* andalusian accent). On the other hand, they regard themselves as native english speakers despite their actual skills being horrid.

Surprisingly on the list of tax havens, I also found Ireland, Switzerland, Canada, Australia USA, UK etc!

Hereís the list of all tax havens:

Andorra, Anguilla, Antigua, Antilles, Aruba, Australia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Canary Isles, Canada, Cayman, Cook Isles, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Dominica, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Malta, Mauritius, Monaco, Panama, Switzerland, Thailand, Turks-Caicos, United Arab Emirates, UK, USA, Vanuatu, W. Samoa.

As you can see Gib is in a "good" company. LOL
