A Compass Films Production for Channel Four in the UK, 1985. The history of Cyprus as described by UK-based Greek and Turkish Cypriots to mark the tenth anniversary after the Turkish invasion of the island in 1974 following the coup by the Greek military Junta.
Highlighting the British policy of 'Divide and Rule' which invited Turkey's involvement in the politics of the island during the Cypriot struggle for independence during the 1950's, and the influence of US policies in leading to a forced division of the island following the Turkish invasion of 1974 when it took over nearly 40% of the island, which it continues to hold onto 38 years later.

Preface
This book aims at enlightening the present and the future generations about the events that have taken place in Cyprus during recent years. One must possess integrity and a strong character to tell the coming generations the events of the past with historic authenticity. Those who alter the events to suit their interests or feelings and present them twisted to future generations commit an unforgivable mistake.

I would like to assure the reader that I have tried to write my memoirs objectively and with great care and sensitivity, free from any outside influence. Having done my duty to the reader, I feel morally satisfied. I would like to believe that the reader's common sense will help verify the author's real intention.

Paphos, September 1978.

I agree.
You are NOT Europeans.
You are barbarians, so withdraw your appliaction. you dont need the EU...withdraw immediately. you can actually take over Europe in a war situation...take advantage of the problems of the EU and declare war and take over Europe...Re establish the ottoman empire.

GO FOR IT.

it's a great chance
