Surveys have been conducted in the US and UK. The result was that the more the public learns about global warming the less likely they are to believe that it is man made or can be corrected by man's actions.

There was scientific consensus that the sun revolved around the earth, Galileo stated that the earth revolved around the sun. Galileo was correct and sentenced to be burned at the stake because of his dening of the scientific consensus. The scientific consensus won, they were wrong, but they were loud, they had the political machine behind them and they prevailed.

Galileo recanted, didn't see how sacrificing himself for the ideas of fools was going to help anything.

If you believe in man made global warming, please tell me what evidence you have seen that makes you believe that global warming is caused by man.

Scientific consensus doesn't count.

It has everyting to do with politics. That's how we get the global warming carbon credits.
That's how Al Gore makes a living. That's how the UN is planning to get additional funds for all the problems they identified in the IPCC report.

Take away the carbon credits, and the "problem" of global warming will go away.

Haha. It's there way of saying there screwed and were wrong but they need to find a way to keep there agenda going of cleaning the planet. What better way to do that and say it's "postponed".
That gives them more time to scare people into thinking "We'll begin dooming ourselves in 2015 at 3:15 p.m." Other top scientists say the Earth will begin cooling within the next 10 years, entering a cooling "cycle", not postponing so called global warming. It's a natural cycle. Is Al Gore going to go on vacation until then?
