How dare anyone put dolphins and humans on the same par? Dolphins are a whole lot smarter and feeling than humans!! I hate humans. Kill this, kill that, kill you and me and as it's going just kill the whole world. I wouldn't mind hunting some lousy humans and say it's for "pest control".

If I were you, I think the first lousy human I would kill would be myself.

It's really sad. The dolphins are really smart. To bad their so good at adapting rather then manipulating. I hope they make it.

Civilised people even carnivores like myself should have respect for creatures such as elephants, dolphins, whales, other cetaceans and great apes that are clearly at a much higher level of intelligence and social structure than common beasts. It speaks to your basic level of intelligence and civility how you treat these higher mammals.

You should check you facts before you publish such rubbish. We do not kill dolphines, it is Pilot Whales, we do not hunt them for fertilizer but for food. We are not savages, this is something our forfathers have done for many many years, and just because you think it looks savage we should stop?? Have you ever seen how they treat the beef and pork or chicken before it is placed in the store where it looks very nice and neat, don't just judge something like this without knowing all the facts.

The fact is that pilot whales are a much higher order of mammal than a cow. They are smart social animals with brains as large or larger than humans. I do not think I should be able to change laws within your countries waters but I will help to change international laws against this practice and I will continue to believe it is uncivilised. We are intitled to our opinions especially when they are backed up by facts. People did lots of things in the past that are considered repugnant now, just because it is part of your culture does not mean it is right.

If they are (whales and dolphins) so smart, why don’t they move to California whey they would be protected? Sheesh!

Good idea, they are protected here. We'll send out flipper to round them all up.

In the Faroe Islands whale hunts are strongly regulated by Faroese authorities and are approved by the International Whaling Commission.

Dolphins are not smarter than humans! And neither are pilot whales. How on earth can a whale be on a higher level than a cow?

Both cows and whales are a source off food. Deal with it!

As seen from some of the posts the earth does need to thin out the population of one species. I hear they're made out of meat too!

No one said they were smarter than humans but some cetaceans have larger brains. Marine mammals, elephants and the great apes are the smartest non human mammals by far. Do you think we should eat Apes? There is much evidence that Dolphins are very social, very bright, playfull and have a sense of humor.

By the way a pig is smarter than a cow.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Gemini

Mercury will backtrack through your finances over the next few weeks, which isn't a very seasonal thought if you're already well aware that you've overspent this month. Be prepared to do some juggling or to seek expert advice if you're worried about how you're going to cope. You may be kept busy handling inheritance, tax or insurance matters, preparing investment analysis, and allocating funds for the repayment or collection of debts.
