Yeah, it does...
A rubber seal Company, previously unknown, obviously rigged to make money in the stock market via bogus unilateral and unsupported announcements...as the others mentioned
They are also playing a political role arranged with the british intelligence services
Probably they assured them tat they will not be prosecuted for stock fraud when it reveals that the whole thing is a lie.
Tou will see...I am in the Oil Industry, as I told you before
Not a single piece of technical data supporting their "findings" has been released by these pirate companies
Excelent data Ricardo!
Also look at this british link..

Proof that Cameron lied over oil find in the Falkland Islands

So all the conservative party, labour are involved in this MALVINAS OIL SCAM! uk should be kicked out from the UNSC.Such a corrupt, criminal country should be prosecuted!

I don't think Falklanders, nor people who want to emigrate to the Falklands, are swayed by whether oil is discovered there or not.
There's something known as 'lifestyle', very much valued here in Newzealand, that counts for a lot more.

There won't be bill for the island, stupid. The MT airport will pick up the revenue from planes/passengers in transit from UK to NZ.
But you're so full of shit, Malvin, that you can only mumble pelotudo, hooligan, unemployed, etc., etc., in any random order

Flights direct from UK to Australia and NZ via the Falklands I believe are shorter and more direct (however, I stand to be corrected on this).
As far as UK-NZ flights or vice versa are concerned, I can only see one possible problem.
If for some reason a 747 had to overnight or longer at MPA, the problem would be that of accommodating passengers.
Whilst accommodation exists it is only to a military standard, and I cannot see your average passenger putting up with that.
To build a hotel fit for purpose would cost, and which airline would fund that, as the Falklands couldn't.
Perhaps somebody should charter an aircraft and then sell seats?

What about a star-shaped country-cottage style pentagonal hotel at Goose Green, using the boulders from stone runs as building materials? Each of the five limbs could be ten to twenty (two-up, two-down) cottages 'long' with cooking, laundry, etc., at the hub of the 'star'. This would be a sensible collective investment for the whole Falklands population.

The british "development" of the Islands in 180 years can not even stand a transit stop for airliners in the case people should overnight there
Not a real country nor a self supporting community

dickie baby,

I have told you on more than one occasion that the Falkland Islands are not British funded and haven't received any financial aid since the 1880s.

Since then we have had no national debt whatsoever..

And furthermore dickie baby, that is exactly the way we wish it to be - if you can not afford it - don't borrow..
A little old fashioned maybe, but that's the way we are..

By the way dickie, what you say about an overnight facility - we already have dickie..
Maybe not to accommodate several hundreds of passengers as YOU might wish, but enough for us dickie..

"Not a real country nor a self supporting community" - what constitutes this dickie, perhaps you'd like to give us your opinion on this..?

Kindest regards from the Falkland Islands

This is true and, if the Falkland Islands are to be part of the world, they should be able to communicate with and receive visitors in an appropriate fashion.
So I disagree with Deanstreet here. Time doesn't stand still.
The MTA hotel could be built to modest standards, using local labour and local materials and is necessary as long as the Argentine denies access via its airspace or international airports.

On the contrary UK money spent on defense is just a drop in the bucket. Again the only pirates emanated from your wonderful country. "WILL be obliterated" by what? flooded Buenos Aires, that cannot maintain a navy, economy, or a sewerage system. The only so called evil empires that existed where Star Wars and the USSR. The only thing that I can see being destroyed is Argentina through gross mismanagement.

Two airlines are "looking at" NZ-UK flights (and picking up the military traffic).

Unfortunately jumped too soon.
This was following a conversation with an acquaintance in the airline industry. It turned out to be his report of a blog between his colleagues. The airlines mentioned were British Airways and AirNZ.

I don't understand this, I really don't, the falklands should have many hotels and a delectable airport. Britain needs to start investing in the falklands before someone else does, in order to maintain soveringty of the falklands we have to be investing in them, building new infrastructure and manufactoring. The falklands has so much potential, we need to help them realise it, if we don't do it, they will start looking for investment from other countries, and I wouldn't blame them for doing it. If China said they wanted to invest in the falklsnds like they have in Africa, maybe that would be a big enough wake up call to Britain to get them to start acting and building in the falklands, how ling before Brazil start looking at investments in southern Atlantic, that would be a dangerous progession, Britain need to start building up and investing in the falklands before someone else does, hopefully the oil fields will turn out to be viable, that would certainly lead to a big British investment in the falklands
