We are going to put sanctions on Russia? Really? Vlad will laugh his butt off. He will just shake in his boots. He'll be so scared. There is nothing we can do to Russia. She will call in our loans. Vlad is already threatening to discontinue the dollar, and replace it with different currency. We never should have gotten involved. Now we just look stupid, and weak. I know, I know, Kerry could invite Vlad to go wind surfing. That will do it!!! Talk about dumb, and dumber, Hanoi John, and Barack take the prize!!

Someone, anyone needs to take our blunder-in-chiefs box of red crayons away from him. as if he isn't enough of an international laughingstock with his petulant foot stomping and empty threats to world leaders. When will people realize the oval office is ruled not only by an empty chair, but an empty suit as well.

I already cleaned up on wheat futures.

We'll have to be sending nat gas as LNG to Ukraine pretty soon, so I'm going super long on them too.

Another good bet is hospice stocks. I figure half of Congress will be out of a job and in the loony bin before this is all over. McCain already has his bed reserved.

The funny thing about Russian commodity reserves is, if they don't sell them, they still have them in reserve. Then, when the price goes up, they sell them to China and China sticks a Made in China sticker on them and sells them to us. LOL

Then, when the shale oil boom finally hits Russia (they have 5 times the reserves we do), instead of their buying our technology and partners, they develop their own and then compete with us on the world stage.

It's a mystery why Putin didn't think of this earlier. LOL

Yes, sanction russia. Their oil/gas industry is the only thing keeping their economy afloat. Let her call in our loans, as that is the only card putin really has left to play. Instead, the smart move would be to sell some of it off a little at a time just to keep pressure up without blowing his only move.

As far as discontinuing the dollar, russia has been trying to do that for decades...and failing...

I was right. The Russians are having a field day over President Obama's sanctions. They are laughing at them and asking Barack if he is being a prankster. So now what?
