OAU what a useless organization...What have they accomplished in 50 years except make Africa the laughingstock of the world. Hopefully the Ethiopians will make their voices heard, but I doubt it because they are generally passive people

TPLF/EPLF Slave,
this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the opposition and Ethiopians to embarass leaders like Obama and score a point against woyanes.

But the organizers should be careful that they are not sabotaged by woyanes or foreign agents like 2 years ago by the planned "Day of Rage". I guess CIA or woyanes paid millions in bribe money to the organizers to call it off.
Foreigners like Africans and blacks should be invited to participate both as speakers and demonstrators and of course as journalists.
ESAT should help in informing Ethiopians about the event and calling people to participate.

It could be a kind of CUD Kinijit Rally 2005 2.0

AU(African Dictators Union),a useless organization watches idly when the prominent pan African was killed by European neocolonialists to take Libyan oil.Am not saying that Gaddafi got no any problem in governing his people.

I dont know if this is what they call realpolitik but it is no less unacceptable to invite THE MURDERER of Gaddafi, Obama, to the 50th anniversary. Totally unacceptable less than 2 years after the murder.
USA, perhaps Africa's greatest enemy, has also directly or indirectly killed so many other African leaders including
1. Patrice Lumumba
2. Haile Selassie, who most likely was killed by Mengistu Hailemariam following order from America
3. Kwame Nkrumah, who died after being overthrown by a CIA coup de etat.

Thanks,
The Blue Party in Ethiopia called a demonstration for 25 may 2013 and two additional days. That is a good news and other parties and citizens should join it. Listen about this a news by ESAT

Why, why, why would anyone demonstrate against AU instead of supporting it? You people are realy true anarchists. The government shouldn't allow this kind of hateful people to stain the good name of Ethiopia. Let ESAT organise such demonstrations in Asmara. We Ethiopians are proud of the achievments of AU and we encourage it to work more harder for the development and peace accros Africa. Congradulations for the AU's 50th anniversary and let God bless them all and destroy all its enemies like ESAT. Amen!!!

Liar, hypocrite !

Allowing African leaders to celebrate the 50th anniversary undisturbed would be allowing them to do the same in Apartheid South Africa in 1988 (25th anniversary) while the majority black population was oppressed by the western backed white minority, which of course means insulting, humiliating and mocking at the majority black population.

The demonstrators should use this opportunity to attack western and African leaders for their indifference or even collaboration with the US/UK backed ethnic apartheid regime of Ethiopia. For that purpose they should carry slogans in english and pictures of leaders like Obama and Blair depicting them as killers. Pictures of the 2005 martyrs could be used.

They should also make loud noise to disturb the gathering, invite some of the participating leaders to "celebrate" the anniversary with the demonstrating people instead of with the corrupt politicians and remind people that one of the reasons the west, in particular USA and UK, back the tigre tribal regime is because of the support Ethiopia and the former Ethiopian leaders Haile Selassie and Mengistu gave to African liberation movements and the role Haile Selassie played in creating that same organization 50 years ago.

The organizers should aim to inflict maximum damage on TPLF and get maximum benefit.
Trying to shift the international attention from the anniversary to the protest would be also good, some kind of violence and leading the TPLF thugs to make mistakes could help.

I hope you go back to Ethiopia and lead the thugs to demonstrate against the AU. But, alas, cowards like you would rather send others to die for their childish politics like in 2005. Why are you people against everybody and against everything? From your writings one can deduce that you are not an educated person. There is no logic in your reasonings. Haile Selassie and Dergue are totaly different entities. And the death of the 2005 killed thugs you people paid to demonstrate has nothing to do with the AU celebrating its birthday. You have never heared or understand international relations nor diplomacy of the western world with Ethiopia and Africa. And yet you are well schooled in Dergue slogans of "US imperialism", woyane, banda, hodam etc. People like you and ESAT are the burden Ethiopians should shake off and throw to dust bin of history.

Having mobilized so many millions the people should not have waited till election day to win their victory. They should have marched right to menelik palace and arrested the agame thugs, gone to hizb dehninet to beat to death the agame spies, broken the arms and ammunition depots and armed the population and freed themselves.

SCARED ???

Actually the qizenam agame leaders were expecting what Tutu said and the most qizenam leader ever, the late midget frog, even fled to Debre Zeyit and was ready to flee from the country if things got worse.

You are either a typical liar agame or you are such a low level cadre that your agame masters did not bother to tell you.
But that happened, even Isayas was alarmed that day.

Can Ethiopians repeat that in 17 days where, unlike in may 2005 , they will have the attention of the world ?
We will see.

I dont know if some of the people will arm themselves with machete, guns, molotov cocktails and bombs this time to cut the federal police into pieces.

For inspiration and to boost their moral the potential demonstrators should watch the video below. Our forefathers cut to pieces italian fascists and their tigre askari slaves. We should do the same with the grandsons of the askaris who are now in power in Ethiopia.

After ESAT other media outlets are covering the story. Wearing black may not be wise because defeatist. Holding multiple gatherings and demonstrations at different locations including Mesqel Square should be considered.
