I really do not understand why Eritreans look down Tigryans...they have nothing to be proud of. Does being Italian slave give you the highest moral authority to look down on the proud and independent brothers of yours? i thought unless for the humbleness of the Tigrayan people, the reverse could have been the case. I don't really understand why people generalize & present their thoughts as if it is 'of people' not as of individuals. We Ethiopians & Eritreans had a great history for about 3 melliniums. We had a lot before;than we had now. I'm sure that our similarities by far excel our differences. We have the same origin, the same history (of course the history of each country without the inclusion of the other won't be complete).
Civilised nations aren't people of identical culture, ethnic group, origin ... yet they understood the power of unity far before we recognize it, while it was with us.
Sectarianism of course was a result of the political situations of both countries.I wish that we highlight our similarities than our differences, & come up to the same boundry to be stronger than we are now.
