Just thought i'd let you know that Qari Abdul Basit's son Yasir came to Bradford this past week, and i got the cance to meet and chat to him... he also did live recitations, which were very close to how his father the great Qari Abdul Basit sounded..

Qari Basit was a hero of his time and he still is in the moderd world as many qari try to copy him but you see brothers and sisters He has his own style od reciting. Alhamdu lillah I have been interested in reciting and learning the quran in this style. this is becouse i heard Qari Basit reciting so beutifully.
