I'm doing a history project where I have to invade the west. I was wondering if it would be possible, in ancient Egyptian times, to damb up the Nile and put Egypt into a drought as part of a siege?

Yes, it was possible, and was actually done many times. You see, the Pharoah would bestow a blessing on one bank of the Nile and then sail across to the other side. There, he would whip out his huge Egyptian dong and throw it into the river. He would have his concubibes swim into the river and stroke it up and down with special machines made of layers of papyrus glued together with resin. As the Pharaoh gradually developed a huge royal erection, the Nile's South to North flow would slow down, and ultimately stop. This is how the Egyptians got rid of the Hyksos, by causing a drought north of Abydos (where the Hyksos lived), and eventually those dirty Asiatic bastards had to run back out into the barren desert in which they were spawned. Hope this helps and you ace your history project!
