President of Ecuador's Judiciary Defends Independence of Justice in the Chevron Case

The President of the Judicial Council in Ecuador, Gustavo Jalkh, assured that the ratification of the verdict for environmental damage against the U.S. oil company Chevron by the Ecuadorian National Court of Justice is a sign of "total independence of its judges".
