According to the magic of genetic science, Dominicans are not black. They are actually predominantly caucasian, the african genes are second, then comes our Amerindian ancestry (taino). We separated from Haiti AND from Spain, but we speak Spanish, and most of us are of Spaniard descent, more so than African. We are a MIXED RACE.
