I am dominican and have very fair skin, and am commonly considered White or Spaniard by people who do not know my heritage... Same with most of my 100% Dominican family, which has been Dominican for centuries. Black Dominicans are of Haitian decent, and are more like Afro-Dominicans (they have afro-cubans, afro-puerto ricans, afro-colombians, afro brazilians, etc. They are NOT actual Dominican Latinos. I dont think people should judge eachother and say Mexicans are fat/ugly.. Were all Latino, if we have Hispanic/Latino ancestory and should all stand strong together, as the most beautiful race in the world.

Not to be mean but how are black dominicans are of haitian decent when blacks were all over the island during slavery? I think the island was call ayti by the tainos english: haiti. I asume black dominicans want to be called dominicans and not haitian since some dumbass took ayti, and named half of it dominican republic after the country dominica. Afro -latinos are actual latinos dominicans are hispanic not latino so are haitians they too are hispanic afro-hispanic is what they're considered. I'm afro-mexican panamaian spainard. My father born in spain parents out of africa my mom was born in mexico is aztec indian myself born in panama. Consider myself afro-latina look very black though don't look like my mom.
