Danish mass killing Dolphins, watch video and sign petition to stop these brutal acts.

We go to Sea World often and watch these amazing animals perform.
They are one of the smarter animals and very human like.

those are pilot whales, not dolphins... and I think the Faroe Islands have a licence from the IWC to kill a certain number each year... around a 1000 I think...

yes... As far as I know its non-commercial whaling up there, the meat is divided by the people participating in the "Grindedrab", but no money is changing hands...

Is it like an indigenous practice.
In the pacific and Australia the only people allowed to kill the turtles are the indigenous people and the meat isn't allowed to be sold for commerical use.

Yeah, high quality post indicating the posters high degree of understanding the specifics in population around the different whale types , as well as the common sense approach to conservation in general!

(like whaling especially on the type of whales harvested around the Faro islands which are there in abundance and easily can sustain the local yearly hunt!)
