On April 17, 1991, Ambassador Nelson Ledsky testified before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee that "most of the 'missing persons' disappeared in the first days of July 1974, before the Turkish intervention on the 20th. Many killed on the Greek side were killed by Greek Cypriots in fighting between supporters of Makarios and Sampson."
Isn't strange, nelson ledsky is a supporter of turkey and was offeered free land and a house in the occupied areas.
Some times the things you don't see or know, tell you more that what was said.

Don't forget to tell us more about the fighting that mr nelson suddenly remmbers after 17years, makes denktash look a liar as he said all the missing were killed by troops or irregualars.

Reading above staments is a snap sot of a film we have all seen. All nations have seen. The attrocities done by Turkeys goverments over time have desimated global human rights, circumvented UN charter and were part of Genicide FACT.

Its time that as other nations have bowed and appologized to the world for their acts that Turkey do the same.

The cyprus issue and turkish argumnet is an infringment on common logic UN resolutions and a provocative pack of lies a decit for what.

What has turkey done in the occupied part of cyprus. Housed tax evading barrons from the uk? Allowed the desimation of religious and historical sites? Stole all the possesions in Famagousta and shipped then to Turkey. Harvested the fruit untill the tries died? Created infrustriucture tourism culture? Built cheap housing to sell to unknowing tourists and retires.

Have they done anything? Walk down the beach in famagousta and see a hotel from 1974 painted being run for profit. Look to the left and see the Famagousta skyline left since 1974 and wire barbed wire. Go see the people. Go to the homes of turkish cypriots that complain that they are worse off under this regime living in homes build and paid for by the cypriot refuges still in some cases using the old furniture and cars from 1974.

All thats the film.

Turkey would be welcome by all nations if it did not claim what is not hers. Follow human rights and UN resolutions.

History can be re written unfortunately unless Turkey leaves the people of cyprus alone without any inteferance that will not be the case.

Im grown man of 45 years. In 1974 took a bullet in the leg when the turkish troops opend fire in the playground of my school. British marines documented the slaughter of women and children and old people in the area and the sun newspapers headlines was barbarians. I lived it I did not read it and I say this.

History can be re writen its up to turkey to be a liked player on the world stage admit its wrong.

Turkey has tortured cyprus for years now and for what? Turkish cypriots and Greek Cypriots under the NWO we see today will flurish and cyprus can be another prosperous multi comunial country.

This will happen one day maybe I wont see it maybe my children will....but it will happen. History has a story to tell and it will.

Loved the conversations I have seen discussion any discussion is healthy

Than you have been watching to many films. to bad you haven't been to TRNC to see the reality.

Tax evading corruption and poverty, for a moment I thought you were describing Greece. because none of that is happening in TRNC.

Of course Cyprus will unite one day but not on Greek terms.
it will unite as two separate states each managing their own affairs but working together.
until such time Greeks give up the ideas of Greek controlled Cyprus or the idea of Greek Island,
Turkish Cypriots are happy with the status quo.

For starters no mention of Greek atrocities.

don't you know it takes two to tango.

so if you want to be taken seriously how about telling it the way it happened. and if you don't know the truth how about shutting up.

What about you Gat I haven't read a single post of yours that talks about Greek atrocities, you and other Greeks always out defending anything that is Greek.

More double talk
You talk about both communities working together but not on Greek terms
How a stupid, idiotic old man like you gets about in life is beyond me
Turkish mentality again, meaning Cyprus will be united but on Turkish terms
Not much of an agreement is there?

I wouldn't worry too much about Derviou the old boy, not one of his "prophecies" has come true. He means well but forgets he lives in a mythical country that has no substance or terms of existance.

We all know Cyprus will never be controlled by Greeks or be known as a Greek island, those days are in history now.

so the next best thing you can hope for is two separate state united Cyprus working together for a better tomorrow.
You people have a choice ""take it or leave it"". status quo existing state of affairs is 1000 times better then being 2nd class citizens to Greeks.

Anywhere there is money there is corruption Can you tell me anywhere that does not have a problem with corruption? TRNC is a haven for British Criminals where Turkish authorities look the other way.TRNC also launders money from Turkeys Heroin distribution to Western Europe and Britain Killing millions of kids in another Genocide
How long were Greeks treated as 2nd Class citizens whenever under Turkish rule, even TODAY there are laws prohibiting the mere 2,500 Greeks in all of Turkey to practice certain professions
Just like Hitlers persecution of the Jews in the 30s Turkey is no different

There you go again speaking from your ass. there are 100s of Greek owned businesses in Turkey 1000s of Greeks are working in Turkey even today many Greeks are leaving Greece to work in key jobs in Turkey,
I told you before join a Turkish forum and ask your Turkey and Greece questions there.
I am a Turkish Cypriot and I tell you this much Turkish Cypriots will never be 2nd class citizens to Greeks, we have our own TRNC. get use to it or bust.
