President Dervis Eroglu has expressed the need for the Cyprus Turkish People to claim its country through unity and solidarity.
Also touching upon the negotiations process aimed at solving the Cyprus issue, the President said the policy which will be carried out by the Greek Cypriot leadership following the presidential elections will determine whether or not an agreement will be reached.
Receiving the members of the Society of the perpetuation of the Anatolian Culture, President Dervis Eroglu reminded that the origin of the Cyprus Turks comes from the Anatolian region and said Turkey has become a developed and modernized country in recent years.
Referring to the Cyprus negotiations process, the President thanked everyone who supported him during the Cyprus negotiations process.
Stating that it is out of the question to talk about any agreement for now, President Eroglu said the policy which will be carried out by the Greek Cypriot leadership following the presidential elections will determine whether or not an agreement will be reached.
Reiterating that the Cyprus Turkish Side and Turkey are in favour of an agreement in Cyprus, President Eroglu said it is necessary to clarify this to the Greek Cypriots and the time has come for the UN to decide what it will do for the solution of the Cyprus Problem.

Start by sending the settlers back.
Then removing the occupying army.

Then let the CYPRIOTS find a solution.

the solution greeeks felt that was needed was all Turks and Turkish Cypriots butchered and removed completely .

thats no solution

what if that happened and kypros was a greek island and part of greece ,it would be Evan worse as Greece is a third world nation and now beggars, kypros will be completely finished and wished they were under the Turkish rule .

word is Greeks in kyprose would easily and except a Turkish government over and if they b had to choose between Greece and Turkey.

Cyprus issue does not exist any more for the TRNC it was all done and dusted way back in 1974.

Issues are in illegal ROC for what it represents, but the stubbornness of our Greek compatriots is delaying the inevitable Recognition of TRNC.
I personally feel the issues created within illegal ROC should be left alone for them to work out they should be the ones to deal with it and move on. I feel TRNC should not involve it self with the internal affairs of illegal ROC.

irrelevent

greeks started enosis way before 74 and had aspirations to get rid of any that stop in there way of the megali idea.

landing of Turkish troops was the consequence, not the cause, of the problem. Moreover, there were in fact two military actions in 1974; the first was by Greece and the Greek Cypriots, which caused the second by Turkey.

In the view of Greek Cypriot journalist, Aleccos Constantinides[111] the Greek Cypriot political parties DIKO and EDEK "are acting as if the Cyprus problem began and ended in 1974. They refrain from talking about the previous coups. The first coup was not in 1974, but only a few years after we had attained our independence (in 1960). Had it not been for the first coup there would not have been the 1974 coup."

re
heres another
Another Greek Cypriot journalist, Stavros Angelides, wrote in Fileleftheros on 16 September 1990 "With the passage of time we the Greek Cypriots forget, or wilfully disregard, the events which led to the present situation in Cyprus. We forget our faults and we ask all the more emphatically everybody else to deliver to us justice as we understand it. We talk in generalities and in vague terms about UN Resolutions, and actually mean those which favour us. The others, such as Resolution 649 are not fair—we do not want them—let them go to hell."

you see there are dignified and decent greeks that are brave enough to admit there nations errors

Tell us devio old boy why is it inevitable, reconition of your fake country, why is it not invetitable that reconcilliation happens?
You turks give every reason you can think of not to return what was stolen. You throw around words like eoake, enosis, sampson, grivas , the greek junta and best of all you will all be massacered, yet strangely you want more open borders, you come here to work daily, you use our airport rather than your own, you come to us for pensions amd EU idemty cards, you use our hospitals,
you even say Cyprus is illegal but never give a valid reason that would stand up in a court.
In all of this strangely none of you has been killed, the only killings since 1974 have been done by the turkish army.
To this day not one single Turkish Cypriot has told me why they should legally be able to keep their stolen houses, lands amd goods, NOT ONE and I know not only you can't, you won't because it is impossible
And thats your problem, what happened in 1974 was illegal and still is today and for ever more it will be still illegal.
Why you feel what turkey did was right and the world is wrong
shows outstandingly what sort of people you are and the world knows it.
Reconition, that Elusive Butterfly of 1974, that is still as ELUSIVE 38 years later.
PS. Not one of your phrophices have come true.
