i had an argument with a turk once who tried to convince me that the turks were the people who offered the most to the ancient world and i had to explain to him that when americans are in school it is the GREEKS and the ROMANS we learn about when it comes to ancient civilizations, NOT turks.

i'm not sure why america is playing along with turkey these days, i know we need 'friends' in the islamic world, but turkey is not our friend. i think we even wouldn't vote to recognize the genocide against the armenians just so as not to offend the turks... crazy.

americans did, fighting the japanese, which ended ww2 and ultimately saved lives. p.s. me thinks the middle east needs a little mini hiroshima to make sure they know the americans have not been deballed by their terrorist and ridiculous ways.

there will never be democracy and freedom in iraq or anywhere in the middle east like we enjoy in the western world because the people living in iraq and the middle east are too superstitious and caught up in their violent religion and their breeding of hatred to let that happen.

haha nice... americans aren't going anywhere although like i said before i think we should get out of the whole of the middle east, put a fence around that hell hole, throw the palistinians in, make sure the fence also encloses turkey, and let them just go at each other without our intervention, it shouldn't take long for them to wipe each other out of the gene pool for us. what a glorious day that will be :0)

i have been in the army and have served in izmir i can tell you that our best allies we will ever have is the Turks

you obviously have a grudge against them i can understand that if you have a ethnic background of Greek/armenian descent but if you have none of these backgrounds all americans love Turkey and its people

my dad who was in the korean war allways talks about the Turks and how they fought in the korean war which saved a lot of american lives including his therefor i am allways in debt to that nation
