I can't believe this, this year I sent $127 to a turk seller of minerals on ebay, never got the items from him and he blocks me despite me being polite. The next turk I deal with recently a few days ago, seemingly pretends to have broken english yet has a near perfect ebay rating with only four negatives visible and very long ago. Yet this guy overcharges me on shipping $98 for what amounts to a box of a few hundred seeds, not close to the weight of a moped which is the kind of weight you would charge $100 for shipping. So I file a paypal dispute against the transaction when once again, he won't talk to me, and does he talk to me through paypal? No, he talks to me through ebay, won't talk to me via his direct email which he posted either, including on his items which ebay forbids. After I send him a few more emails trying to get him to reply, he says no need to be rude and in another later message is clearly saying he will refund me $73 "immediately" if I close the dispute (apparently you can't give a partial refund when a dispute is open, stupid paypal, NOR do they allow for shipping disputes, grrr). So anyways I close it. What happens? About on hour or more later I get a notification saying the items shipped WITHOUT TRACKING like I had asked him for at least twice. Did he give me the $73 back IMMEDIATELY? No. Any messages from him the next day? No. So after being given the run around by ebay's system which I tried to use to report him for fraud, finally called ebay, and the operator told me to call paypal saying they'd reopen it, and the woman I got did. Interestingly, since the guy did not use tracking, there is no way he can prove I ever got these items, and she said that after 10 days paypal would refund all the money (about $237). I have the anger to lie if even if I do get these seeds, because for all I know, being that this guy is a liar, or a drunk, how do I know he didn't maliciously do something to the seeds like wet them or give me a batch of old seeds or put in a few bugs or whatever out of maliciousness being that he seems to be a psychopath? What I don't get is he has over 700 positive ratings with only 4 negatives and not even recent. So what is this guy's problem? Did I just happen to catch him when he was short on money, and tempted to overcharge on shipping, or when he became very depressed, or started drinking? I asked the paypal service person if Turkey was a problem country for them, and she said, "No, not at all." But so what's the deal with two bad turks in a row? Oh yeah and I'm reminded of one who I encountered around 2005, selling compression software, it was called Comprexx by "Mimar Sinan". This evil moron for no good reason, in retaliation against me, bombed my email account with a flood of emails so massive in size I was unable to delete them all and look at my earlier messages. When I complained to the atheist controlled Yahoo (and isn't Turkey atheist dominated?) they gave me a no help response if any. I think this is all in a row, so three bad Turks in a row. I don't remember communicating with any others except to give a general message of the gospel or a link to it on a Turkish facebook page. But no one ever replied to it. Daniel, do you understand now what all of Turkey's neigbours are going through? Every time they turn their head there is something missing. They are a nation of thieves and crooks, given the rare exception. They wait until they join the EU to show their full potential. Regarding their lying, you can verify this by spending one hour reading some of their posts in this forum.
Believe me, when Ebay or Paypal etc do nothing to such abuses then this is the right place to complain. The Greeks and the Cypriots of this forum will make sure that they get some of their own medicine back every time.
We have been saying who they are for years but our allies in Europe did not believe us. It seems that they are the type of people who have to experience something in order to accept it.
