Thank you Mr. President, but if you need to, just get the damn bill passed and work on adjustments later.

You still got a LOT of sequester fallout that's going to need your attention pretty quickly. You'll need to get very proactive and very aggressive very soon. For example, large numbers of the elderly and disabled, Citizens who are the most vulnerable and least resilient, are going to be rendered homeless by the HUD sequester. Some already are.

I heard this a few days ago ...

So when it comes to gay immigration, which is important, we can wait. Our cases are not life-threatening. These peoples' are.

There should be NO immigration into the U.S. by ANYONE at ANY time for ANY reason UNTIL.....

FIRSTLY, SECURE ALL OUR BORDERS !

SECONDLY, DEPORT ALL ALIENS WHO ARE IN THE U.S. ILLEGALLY !

THEN, we can talk about allowing more people into the U.S. But until the other 2 things I mentioned are DONE, and ALL present immigration laws are ENFORCED, which The Obamaniac has WILLFULLY REFUSED TO DO, then NO more immigration into the U.S.

As soon as DOMA is struck down there won't be any need for an amendment to include same-sex couples in immigration reform.

Equal protections is a constitutional guarantee for all Americans, gay or straight.

Unless you're Native-American your family originated somewhere else and immigrated here.

I'll give you three guesses why your stance on immigration seems a little hypocritical.

I've researched my family tree. There were no limits at all on immigration into the U.S. until Congress passed the very first federal immigration law in the 1875.

All of my ancestors came to the U.S. well before that. My maternal grandfather was of English ancestry, and he was from Virginia, whence his family emigrated to in the 1600's. My paternal grandfather's family came to the U.S. from Ireland in the 1840's. And both of my grandmothers were German Lutherans who came to the U.S. circa 1850 - 1860.

And my great-uncle, Dr. Paul McGowan, my paternal grandfather's brother, was the obstetrician who delivered me, and for whom I was named.(I believe that is the only time I ever met him).

I must admit, Obama has been a draw. At first I had hopes, then I lost them, now I feel "meh" about him. At least he's for some equality, even if he is letting mainstream corporations try to ruin the internet economy.

My take is that he's a new kind of Democrat, who focuses upon those who care enough to organize and work (and donate) for what they want.

I don't feel so well about his activities for those who tend to be voiceless.

As I said, he's kind of a draw, making good stances and bad ones equally often. Which is better than I had expected, but not what I was hoping for.

Yes, I'm gay.

Are you stupid or do you just like to ask obvious questions?
