I was born and raised in Tanzania to a Ngazidja woman and a Tanzanian father. My mother's family fled to Tanzania in the late 1970s.My mother spoke Shimasiwa with her sisters and her family but I never got to know the language because my parents and grandparents lived in differenet parts. This means I know very few words (since I speak Swahili which is a relative of Shimasiwa)in Shimasiwa. But I had always been interested and fascinated in the Language. Are there any resources that you know that may help me learn the language???If you know please post them here and I will know my way ahead.Tshukuriya
Thanks for writing to me and asking me that very important request, yes u can get some few documents about this comorian language but the best way to learn such a language is to follow my way here freely till u get the full book, in addition to that I'lltry my best to let u know whenever I get something new, thanks most sincerely and welcome to my free research.

Let's brush up our comorian language:
In Comorian language, we can use most of technological words as they are in their original language, for instance:
Apollo : Yinu Apolo.
Satelite: Yinu Sateliti.
Telescope:Yinu teleskopu.
Well, the comorian language is one of the very easy and soften language of the world once someone wants to learn it.So we can say, most of the technological words are shown as ew've just seen in the above examples, we point to most of them by this ( Yinu,Yila,Yile)
This is a video: Yinu Videwo
That is a tv : Yila Tv
That is over there a radio.: Yile Radiwo
So comorian is easier than other languages, welcome to Shikomor.
Looking forward to reading your comments.

It's said that what builds people are languge and culture. Then, who build language and culture are people. Thus people without language and culture are like those are in the tombs. What we need, are creative and homey people like you, Yousouf, to keep along our culture as well as our language not to die out as many languages will be fading after 100years.
My advice is that, you should arrange effectively your idea because it's a good one.

Dear friends over there,
Deeply delighted to welcome you to the Comorian Language again. Today, we are going to learn very few daily things, natural things like:
Air, Water, Fire, Sky, Earth, Wind, Trees,
Well, let us statrt by: Air= Hawa
The Air= Ye Hawa, if you are comorian you have the very right to criticise me and give me better idea than this, we all accept that we learn through mistakes and this is my email:mbaey45@gmail.com
Ok.
The air=Ye Hawa but we can not use this vocabulary as weather in Comorian we can use it for instance:
Ye Hawa Ngiyo Njema= The weather is good.Or
Wowakati Nguwomwema Lewo= It is nice today, it is good today, it is fine today.etc.......You can express yourself as much as you want for good weather but in Enlish we can use Air as meaning of good or bad weather, can we? Give your comment, thanks because I am your student, I can accept any good corrections.
Looking forward to reading your comments

I know that I don't know.

Now, as a comorian speaker, I am going to let you all criticise me as much as you can.
