Most polls showed that ppl believes that China is already the leader of the world or will be soon especially with the shutdown at D.C. and the Syrian crisis. Also the high debt limit and distrust among people of the world against the USA. Lying about WMDs twice not once but this time Russia and China called the USA on it. Obama had a chance to turn history around and make the USA the dominant country for centuries to come but he chose the Zionist policies of Bush and Cheney. When Obama took over, over five years ago, the USA was clearly the dominant country of the world but it is fading quickly.

Human rights, legal system and corruption will always hold China back, they will never be the dominant country in the world. I like China don't get me wrong, we just all need to face the facts. China executes ten thousand ppl each year. More than the whole world combined, most are executed without a fair trial, do you want a country like this to lead?

China has 4,000 years of history , the culture is rich ,

China 4,000 years of history is better than japan 2,000 years of history ,

China long history is full of ups and downs , now it's time for China to rise again , the moment has come.

USA is good at science and technology only. China has better politician

japan history and culture is under China , japan maybe the first asian country to modernize , but their morality is bad , they are expert only in invading and playing trick and refuse to face the truth

the great roman empire cannot last forever. there are good americans and bad americans.

the problem with the bad americans is that they think they are always the best in human history without knowing the time has come for them to go down just like sunset.

this is cycle , the law of the universe . it is natural for China to rise and usa to go down

this is destiny , and nothing can change it.

In the 6,000 yrs of human civilization, the area of what we know as China today and the last 3,000 yrs has been on top for 90% of the time, the cycle favors China. It is the only strong ancient civilization that is still remaining strong.

Even though the West paints China as a violent and evil country, they have not bombed other countries nor used drones to kill ppl wantonly. More and more countries are leaning toward China. In fact they are the #1 importer, #1 exporter and #1 global trader.

I do believe China may rise. In fact, it is currently one of the top three most important countries in the world(In my mind). But I don't really like your comment for several reasons. The length a certain culture has lasted does not affect it's economic and political position at all. Culture and history do not guarantee a future. China does not have better politicians than USA. China is heavily corrupt, and it is depressing. China could emerge as the foremost world power if someone could make a dent on its corruption. Next, why are you comparing China with Japan? Japan cannot be a super power due to its lack of an official military. Besides, Japanese are not only "experts at invading and playing trick", as you put it. They have already faced the truth, which lead their country into modernization and wealth. China's rise does not mean USA will go down. Unfortunately, due to USA's vast amount of influence, many other countries will also sink if USA goes down. Lastly, destiny is not achieved, it is made. One cannot sit around and believe it is his destiny to inherit the world.

China will have her growth slowed massively by the revolution.

Nobody is going to live under that level of oppression forever,

At some point they will have a civil war against the evil forces ruling them.

China's irrational used of drones and its bul;lying of countries in the East and south China Seas will bring its down fall. Corruption is not a problem in China, otherwise they would not have come so and so fast in such a short time. In other countries corruption is legal and swept under the rug, in China you are punished and publicly humiliated and exposed.
India and China are the two cleanest countries around.

japan is going to fall down , japanese think they are the head of asia , in fact , they are not

China and india are the 2 head of asia , they both have long rich history and culture.

China in ancient time has great thinker , philosopher , politician , the history and culture is rich .

japanese only expert in invading other countries, brutal killings, rob and steal other countries golds and wealth, denied war crimes.

japan did not compensate China 600 billion war compensation, they use the China money for development, that's why they prosper.

japan technology has beaten by south korean and China again. even european technology beats japan again.

korean Samsung defeats japan sony, sony lose to Samsung

unlike German politician who apologize and compensate to europe war victims and jews.

majority of the japanese politician are right wing, they denied war atrocities crime, they don't want to compensate , they change their peace constitution for military build up for war again.

majority of japanese politician believe they are the hero in world war 2 , they set free asian countries from western colonization.

So you think US drones which actually did killed civilians in Pakistan is justified, as opposed to Chinese drones patrolling its borders. Not as if Philippines/US has no drones in south China sea anyway.

I agreed as with most of the posters on this thread that the world would be a better place with a new leader, under Obama there has been no change to Bush and Cheney's policies.

Obama is abandoning some of America's Zionist policies , the very fact that he did not bomb Syria made Netanyahu ferious. Israel will have to stand on its own feet. The Zionist policies that have haunted America in the last 60 years may have been put in the wayside, they were wrong, unethical and morally incoorect.

Most of the world want India to take the lead, it is peaceful, democratic, moral, ethical and freed of corruption. It is also an emerging economic and military power.

With the sliding economic situation in the EU. A revolution looks more likely to happen in Europe.

Is that right?

Then how come leaders of many countries are pressing China to take a more leading role in world affairs. While nobody gives India a first glance, then alone a second one.

Does anyone bother to approach India to mediate in world matters like the problem in Syria?

How come the Chinese Yuan is the most likely candidate to become the world's next reserve currency and not the worthless Indian Rupee?

Whenever India has some kind of conflict with Pakistan, India has to solicit help from America to make the Pakis back off.

Which country would want to be led by a country like India, which can't even look after it's own ass properly?

Right now, the three countries that have the most weight in world affairs are USA, China and Russia. Japan doesn't matter as it is a vassal of America.

China may have a problem with corruption, but America is not clean either. American corruption is not reported in the media as much.

America is not going to last forever as a superpower. All world powers have a period of rise, before it's inevitable fall. America is no exception.

The world is nobody's personal property to inherit. But an imperial power like America believes otherwise. And it has spent vast amounts of it's resources towards maintaining that status quo.

But everything comes at a cost. America's ambition of global dominance has stretched it's resources and abilities to the absolute limit. Perhaps to the point of complete exhaustion and irreversible decline.

The Roman empire believed it was eternal. The British empire believed the sun would never set upon it. Many Americans and their supporters believe America will continue to dominate the world well into the distant future.

But overestimation of oneself has always come at a very high cost.
