Yes it is only in Subic and Manila you will find Filipina sruts and Filipino losers. If you go to the countryside you will find none or just a few of them.

That's not true. While I support many things about the Philippines and your culture, blind national pride is a scourge.

I was stationed in the Philippines for a decade or so. I spent a great deal of time in rural areas, especially in the Visayas and ARMM. It never ceased to amaze me how often I was propositioned by Pinays and offered illegal deals by unscrupulous Pinoys. I have related this story before. While working in the ARMM, a local leader sought our assistance in dealing with ASG assclowns. During the meeting, at one of his resorts, he actually paraded naked teen girls before us in an attempt to entice my team. After dinner, I was shown to my room by one of his lackeys and found one of the teen girls waiting there for me. His lackey seemed genuinely confused by my request to send the girl on her way. It was not uncommon for them to use this tact to attempt extortion upon us. Our host was pretty dismayed the next morning when my team arrived unescorted and smiling. He needed leverage and was more than willing to abuse children to do it.

Scumbags are not limited to to red light districts. There are plenty of 'spas' and 'massage parlors' in barangays across the nation. They cater solely to Pinoys.

You seems to also have a master degree on spas and massage parlors in barangays across the nation. In PH, barangay is a "small barrio" ..and I wonder if they can afford to have massage parlors and the barrio people have money to spend for spas, etc.

I'll do my best to be nice to you old man due to the SUPERBOWL 2013.

And I'm reminding you, you're the one married to a Filipina. In other words, your wife is married to you, an american who has been here for years.

Don't talk of "intellectual" conversation. You and your co stooges resort to personal attack when you lose the argument.....or perhaps you are suffering from symptoms of alzheimer due to old age.

If I were you, focus on something that makes you happy so you will not get cranky....

Thank you for explaining to the forum why it is you know little about your homeland.

You 'wonder' while I actually know. Anyone who has spent time on the Philippines knows that even the smallest barangay has members of the world's oldest profession.

Palace: Good governance means good economics

ECONOMIC TEAM President Aquino (right) predicts an impressive Philippine economic growth of more than 6 percent in a speech during the 40th anniversary of Neda on Tuesday. He is shown with (from left) former Neda Director General Cayetano Paderanga, Neda Deputy Director General Rolando Tungpalan and current Neda chief Arsenio Balisacan. Lyn Rillon

Living up to President Aquino’s advance information that the numbers would impress, the Philippine economy expanded 6.8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012, lifting full-year growth to 6.6 percent.

The figures that government economists and statisticians announced Thursday beat their targets and analysts’ expectations.

Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan said that on hindsight, the government’s 5- to 6-percent growth target for the past year seemed conservative.

Median forecasts from the World Bank and other institutions were 5.9 percent for the fourth quarter and 6.4 percent for the full year.

Compared with the latest available data from other Asean countries, the Philippines’ fourth quarter growth in gross domestic product (GDP), the value of goods produced and services rendered in a given period, was higher than Vietnam’s 5.4 percent and Singapore’s 1.1 percent.

China’s economy expanded by 7.8 percent in the last quarter. Other countries still do not have available data for the full year."
