The people in the clan really look down on Chinese from the bottom of their hearts.

China has money and the Emperor has no clothes. Sure the Imperial Clan is mad, now you know why. In this modern age many countries have done away with the monarchy and Japan is still behind.

If you go visit Tokyo, the biggest concentration of homeless people are along the moat of the Imperial Palace.

This is interesting. I just been looking at the latest IMF submissions to the World Bank, and something contradicts what you are suggesting. For instance, 8 of the top 10 countries who's earnings per capita are monarchys. Luxemburg, Norway, Holland, Britain etc.

The same report places Japan in 17th place and China at 91 behind Dominican Republic and Peru.
Do you think our government lied when they submitted the figures in September?

Not a secret.

That is why Japan never feels bad when its armies invaded and killed so many Koreans and Chinese before and around WW2!

That's per capita GDP, which is irrelevant, whore. Luxembourg has the world's highest per capita GDP, but do you see lots of people going there to invest? NO. Luxembourg only has 500,000 people, the size of Macau's, too small a market to matter.

What's more important is that by mid-2013, China will surpass Japan as world's No. 2 in the number of people living in high-end developed world living standards. It's now 120 million people in China this year, but will surpass Japan's 126 million people in about 7 months time.

As for those per capita GDP world ranking, China's moving forward by an average of 4 places per year. IMF list actually showed China as 90 in 2011, so that's 54 by 2020, when China's per capita GDP reaches US$ 10,000.

Sure, it'll slow down after that, as China's economy gets much bigger. By maintaining a 7.2 % growth, China would reach per capita GDP of US$ 20,000 by 2030, reaching Deng Xiaoping's goal of achieving a middle-level developed country by mid-century 20 years earlier.

By PPP China is in the top five, a buck in China goes a long long way, much further than Japan or the UISA.

Eight mos ago I went with my Chinese friends to various places eat, shop and amusement parks, trust me a buck in China goes twenty times as as it does in the USA, especially in the S.F. Bay area. If a Chinese is making $7,000.00 USD he or she is doing well and able to buy a lot of things.

NOT GDP per capita you plonker. The figures are average earnings per capita.

USA PPP earning per capita:$48,328

China PPP earnings per capita:$8,387

That means Chinese people have 17% of the spending power of Americans.

Given your claim that money goes 20X further in China, that means Chinese people earn 0.86% of what Americans do.

That makes the average wage in China $420 and makes China one of the top 10 poorest nations on earth.

Isn't it amazing how they can be so poor yet all their politicians have rolex watches and limousines?

Yeah, did you see the guy who outed the milk companies for adding melamine was assassinated in the last weeks. There was a huge bounty out for him. They are saying that 300,000 babies had kidney problems or died from this before it was brought to light.Cutting the milk with poison helps the buck go further.I have other examples if you want me to brag some more

Japan, being too proud is their biggest problem. China offered to help them clean up Fukushima but they refused. That area is going to be a waste land for another hundred years.
