This high-speed railway actually runs another 150 kilometers to Shenzhen, so it's 2,450 kilometers long.

The entire high-speed railway network of Japan is 2,300 kilometers long.

When the HSR first came out there were empty seats but they are nearly all gone now in China. Just this vacation period in China, China will move 300 million ppl by rail alone, what empty seats when you have to order way in advance to get seats. The trolls are wrong again about China.
