Amino terminated dendrimers can well improve the hydrophilicity of carbon fiber, to further solve the limitations of its application. PAMAM modified carbon fibers can increase the wettability of the surface of carbon fibers, thereby increasing the affinity with the polymer matrix, for example combination with epoxy resin, compared with unmodified carbon fibers, its interfacial shear strength increased by 85 %.
