for godzake brookie,
the clueless commies sailed their ex rusting soviet converted icebreaker.into places where they have no(nil) experience, and now it is up to the USA to rescue them once again..
Brookie,, the ice breaker is just another piece of old castaway soviet junk(no pun intended) like that wannabe aircraft carrier, admit it man.
The commies are not welcome in Antarctica, actually to read the papers here,, they are hated. what with their polluting and land grabbing track record, I think they should just go home, and at least save some face

It was a calculating move by the Anglosphere countries, Australia and USA, to claim final credit. The Aussies came to rescue after the French and the Chinese, after seeing event had turned to their advantage. It was a god-send to see the Chinese ship got stuck so the Aussies called the Americans to help. That will save their faces. The Russians and the Chinese did not ask the Americans for help. Very cheeky! But the 52 passengers rescued will know they have the Chinese to thank. If the Americans were to succeed in helping the Russians and the Chinese free, watch out for what the Western media crow.

come on,
Commie papers have been singing about how great is the heroic rescue,,, now they have gone very quiet, and Xi is begging the Americans to save the commie icebreaker before it is crushed.
I just wish the USA would ask the Japanese navy to go save the commies instead

Come on, dude, you have carried your insane hatred of the Chinese too far. The Chinese stayed on for the rescue and succeeded taking the passengers to safety. They were true to their intention and heroic! You are singing the insult. That is low! Why did the Americans not come to help the Russians in the first place? That was their unning move hoping to appear as the eventual hero. That is low too.

Chinese did not have to go that far in... they had a helicopter...

the rescue ship that came after the Chinese ship, with better ice breaking ability made it even less further in than the Chinese ship...

Brits are just rash these days... all over China forums...

as Blacks from Africa out school them....

and the poorest Chinese immigrants out school their richest white students by the age of 16

but lets talk about a Chinese ice breaker who answered the call for help

Yup.

Those people saw a helicopter and believed they were being rescued.

Turns out they were wrong though.

They should never have believed the Chinese.

Purple, think of it like this The situation was and had been monitored for over a week by the British ,French, Aussie,s,the USA and the Kiwi,s,,
All these ships were equipped with modern helicopters (not like the old Soviet machine on the Chinese ship) the passengers had enough food for another month and they were in no danger. The Chinese offered to "rescue" them, and with minimal experience and skill in this type of work, in the words of the Aussie captain,, "they blew it".
I fail to see how you can call them heroic?
It was all a publicity stunt by the commies that went horribly wrong, Xinhua and global times have egg on their faces.
I hear the Japanese have offered their services to rescue the hapless hopeless commies

You believe that silly Aussie captain! What dId the Aussies do? They came late and too timid to get closer to the Russians and in the end they offerred no smarter idea but to rely on the Chinese. That captain said that to offset his team's lustreless performance.

1. The French came, saw and ran.
2. The Aussies came late, dared not go close, and began acting like a leader, supervising, co-ordinating, criticising.
3. The Americans are joining in, hoping to become a saviour in the end.

The fact is, the Chinese came closest to the scene and ferried 52 passengers to the red-faced Aussie ship. They did what they could and the passengers were relieved.

The latest development indicates that the Chinese will free themselves before the Americans come. The Russians are victims, the Chinese are heroes, and the rest are clowns.

None of them "ran" you fool. there was no panic as no one was in any danger at all, in fact as I understand it from the papers everyone on board was in Party mode.
The stupid commies trying to get some propaganda from this, rushed in like fools, and have made idiots out of themselves.
They are a danger not only to themselves but also to others in this harsh environment,
Best they go back to haressing Philippinos

China destroys the ancient Buddhist symbols of Lhasa City in Tibet
By Shambala | Posted December 23, 2013 | Dharamshala, India

Dharamshala:-- Ignoring both religious freedom and the outcry of the Tibetan people, the Chinese authorities have begun demolishing the ancient capital of Lhasa, including one of the most important Buddhist sites of the city, Tibet's holiest Jokhang Temple.

Read the latest news. The Chinese ship has broken out and is sailing in clear water. That should disappoint many people.

God helps those who help others. Bravo, China.

Death By China

From best-selling author and filmmaker, Peter Navarro, comes DEATH BY CHINA, a documentary feature that pointedly confronts the most urgent problem facing America today – its increasingly destructive economic trade relationship with a rapidly rising China. Since China began flooding U.S. markets with illegally subsidized products in 2001, over 50,000 American factories have disappeared, more than 25 million Americans can’t find a decent job, and America now owes more than 3 trillion dollars to the world’s largest totalitarian nation. Through compelling interviews with voices across the political spectrum, DEATH BY CHINA exposes that the U.S.-China relationship is broken and must be fixed if the world is going to be a place of peace and prosperity.
