This story just points out how globalised the world is, a Chinese National is prospecting and staking out claims in the outback for mining leases and making 100s of millions. He has residency not Australian citizenship.
He seriously believes he can develop the Northern Teritory and it will be developed with or without the Australian Government. As I said he is'nt even Australian.
Is Globalisation good?
I don't know the answer to that.
It is challenging though, very challenging. What we thought was our country will more and more be accessed by other People, Organisations and other Nations for that matter.
Australia we have to figure out what to do. Globalisation is bigger than just 3000 boat people a year as portrayed by the media, it's very diverse and powerful.

There is $55b of mine investment that will create 27,000 jobs waiting for the gov't to stop flip flopping on the Abbot Point expansion in QLD.
Mining Boom 3.0 is waiting for the LNP gov't.
