Perhaps someday soon the two navies will be taking shore leave at Subic together to enjoy the Filipina prostitutes. This is great for the Philippine economy too. Everyone wins!

The USA is playing two face, in front of China's neighboring countries they are exploited to contain China. And in front of China, they tell China that whatever they do in the China Seas is their business.

Its a great way to sell more weapons - one of the few things that we excel at these days. Anyway, it doesn't really change the end game. Disputes over the South China Sea will return to the back burner soon. We're like kids with ADD. We act impulsively and can't stay focused for any meaningful period of time. The real danger to us remains Islamic extremism. At the end of the day, China wants us alive and well to buy their stuff while the Islamic extremist wants us dead because we are "Satan" - a sentiment shared by many many people in Middle Eastern countries including our allies Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, etc.

Rabies will get to Bll or Bill. On the surface China and the USA seemed like advarsaries but in actuality they work hand in hand in business and in keeping the shipping lanes safe. If the USA did not like what the Chinese are doing in the China Seas, the USA will not hesitate to invade China. The USA knows that if they do not have to police the China Seas which are far away from the USA, the USA will save billions of dollars. Heck the USA wants China to police part of the world and urged them to.

True! I second your opinion. But in that the US will 'NOT' hesitate to invade China. The US at these days and age are simply powerless to invade China.
