Canadians of Chinese origin are particularly likely to have a post-graduate degree. In 2001, adults of Chinese origin made up 3% of the overall Canadian population, but represented 9% of all those with a Doctorate and 7% of those with a Master's degree.

Canadians of Chinese origin also represent a high proportion of those with degrees in highly technical fields. In 2001, people of Chinese origin made up 6% of all university graduates in Canada, while they represented 12% of those with degrees in mathematics, physics or computer science, and 11% of those in engineering or applied science.

More likely to work in scientific and technical fields

Canadians of Chinese origin make up a high proportion of all Canadians employed in scientific and technical occupations. In 2001, people who reported Chinese origin made up 3% of all workers, while they represented 7% of people employed in the natural and applied sciences. People of Chinese origin also represent a relatively high proportion of those employed in business, financial and administrative positions, as well as in manufacturing. At the same time, their representation in other occupational groups such as health and education was proportionately lower

Educational attainment

Canadian adults of Vietnamese origin are about as likely as the rest of the adult population to have a university degree. In 2001, 13% of Canadians of Vietnamese origin aged 15 and over had either a bachelor's or post-graduate degree, while the figure was 15% of the overall adult population.

At the same time, though, nearly half of the Vietnamese community has not completed high school. In 2001, 45% of adults of Vietnamese origin did not have a high school certificate, compared with 31% of all Canadian adults.

One in four works in manufacturing

A relatively large share of workers of Vietnamese origin is employed in manufacturing jobs. In 2001, 25% of all employees of Vietnamese origin were employed in manufacturing versus 8% of the total Canadian work force. At the same time, 11% of employed Canadians of Vietnamese origin compared with 6% of all workers, were employed in scientific and technical occupations. On the other hand, only 6% of the Vietnamese work force held management positions, compared with 10% of all Canadian workers.

lool. so you are basically saying that North America wont unite because the people there dont want so the government wilk respect their choice?? Go on internet and see the Montebello conferences that happen those past years. the political leaders reallywant an union...
Its all about what the people at the top of the pyramid want not what the populace want.
I can only find information on one Montebello conference which apparently took place six years ago, and the Globaliphobics took it as a sign that the North American Union was imminent, yet there hasn't been any radical changes regarding the level of integration between the three countries on those six years. When there is political will to achieve integration it doesn't really take a long to achieve it, the Pacific Alliance has progressed a lot regarding integration in less than two years, on the other hand it took Mexico seventeen years and an economic retaliation to get USA to implement the Truck Driver deal they had already promised in the first place.

Personally I think that, for USA, annexing Canada could make the difference between staying the World's leading super power and silently going to the second or third place during this century. But I seriously doubt that will happen, it could even be incompatible with the Anglo mentality as you already admitted that England shows a severe lack of commitment to the European Union as well.

we never know. Nobody in Austria thought that Hitler would annex Austria. Finally, he did even if a lot of people in both countries were against it.

All we need is a big economic as l crisis and a leader who will hypnotize the American. After that...

China already dominate in most things--solar, wind, high rises, desalination, dams, hydropower, geothermal power, HSR, subways, tunnels, bunkers, submarines, science and tech, neutrino studies, fusion research and development, pre-fab bldgs, currency reserves, #1 exporter, #1 importer, #1 global trader, et al . But to totally dominate probably in five years.

To totally dominate , if we say 100% that will be never, China is not perfect and will never be. But if one considers 90% is good enough then it is now or 95% then it is in five or ten years.

India will dominate before China will, we do not want to be totally dominant, just 85% is good enough. We do not want to be burden too much with policing the world and feeding the world when so many ppl are sitting on their butts.

What do you mean by feeding the world?
India can barely feed it's own people.

As for policing the world, India should start policing it's own society properly first. So that there won't be soo many gang rapes in India.
