I don't support the troops, America, and neither do you. I am tired of the ruse we are playing on these brave citizens in our armed forces. And guess what -- a lot of these soldiers and sailors and airmen and Marines see right through the bullshit of those words, "I support the troops!," spoken by Americans with such false sincerity -- false because our actions don't match our words. These young men and women sign up to risk their very lives to protect us -- and this is what they get in return:

"We are currently involved in at least a half-dozen military actions around the world. Don't become the next statistic so that General Electric can post another record profit -- while paying no taxes -- taxes that otherwise would be paying for the artificial leg that they've kept you waiting for months to receive."

"Today's wars are truly corporate colonialism with government sanctions. Our troops are sent to protect corporate business rights to take what they want. We falsely market this under the patriotic flag waving and protect our soil mantra.

There is no end to this as every large industrial country on this planet is competing for more control of resources. We just happen to use the war excuse because we're good at using guns and rockets to get our way.

Other countries such as China, just buy it as they have better credit and never invade countries and start wars."

US Govt doesn't care if US soldiers die for corporate USA. What they are now there for. US Govt doesn't want the $$$ ones they hire outsourced. Might get sued if one of them go....

US Troops are nothing more than low quality security guards for corporations. When the USA wants, "high" quality they out source and hire mercenaries and pay them 10x's as much. Anyone who thinks the US Commander in Chief has the best interest of US soldiers in mine has got to be kidding themselves.

Friends of the Left! Comrades! Just ask yourselves, "What is being accomplished?" Why is it that as citizens of the USA, we don't know? Wouldn't it have been nice to have a wheel space station around the Earth?

Wouldn't it have been nice to have a base on the Moon and a colony on Mars? Wouldn't it be nice to still have a space shuttle?

But what do we get? We get a $16 trillion debt, 25 million unemployed, 47 million on food stamps, 50 million with no health insurance, millions of immigrants, and never ending wars.

Doesn't it seem to YOU, comrades, that the USA exists only to serve the capitalist rich elite.

"Empires come and go and as they are going they yell to the highest heavens support the troops as some kind of grand patriotism and nationalism.

The military and corp america learned from Vietnam not to use the draft for their war mongering instead they learned there are enough Americans that will do the fighting for them if they pay decent and have benefits. plus there are always a small per cent age of Americans that want to fight in its ongoing wars."

How many wars is Brazil currently in today? How about Australia? Germany?

"You know, I can't think of another country having the hunger for war that only the United States maintains.

How many countries agree to keep our military bases?

Do we really need to be the world's policeman? Shouldn't we send signals to our allies that they should share this burden?

We're like the kid in high school that wants to be in everybody's business and tell everyone else how to live. Maybe, just maybe we should consider a foreign policy approach that values honesty and open communication."

calm down mate. be proud of your country. during war time army defend the rich interest. during peace time army bully weak nations for the rich. and the poor are benefiting from this whole exercise as well. it is a win-win-win-win strategy. at the expense of all other lose-lose-lose-lose nations.

think of the gasoline price, if not those brave soldiers sacrifices, greedy capitalist. how much do you think you need to pay for a gallon at the pump?

those are allies of convenience. there is no permanent ally in this world. those who have the money, guns would splash their influence. keep those guns, otherwise you don't have a dream. worst united states would ended up having a foreign policy with the martians.
