I do not hate China or the Chinese. I just wish they weren't so successful because the U.S. should rule the planet forever and no country, whether its China or Canada, should challenge or defy our right to call the shots and our right to exploit the planet's resources as we please. For example, if it weren't for China's success, almost all of Venezuela's oil would still be sold to us at below market prices.

Unfortunately, there's not much that we can do about this since our economic system, which favors increasing the concentration of wealth at the top, relies heavily on borrowing from China to keep interest rates low and the importation of cheap Chinese goods so that our increasingly poor people can afford to maintain an acceptable quality of life.

Borrowing? You the mean the unconstitutional Federal Reserve System that is owned by the World Bank which also owns the Bank of China?

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Idiots. You didn't think Americans were 'borrowing' all that cash, did you?

Buying junk bonds sold by an illegal and unconstitutional entity which calls itself the Federal Reserve doesn't count as 'borrowing' since they are not worth the paper they are printed on, nor are Federal Reserve Fiat notes falsely called 'dollars' that you have hoarded.

China has amassed piles of junk bonds and dollar FED notes in its attempt to 'buy' America. What it did not realize is that America is not for sale, but the Federal Reserve is.

You stupid fools. Did you not know that the ones you were buying dollars and junk bonds from also run your own banks and rob you blind as well?

LOL, taiwanese guy, are you satirizing yourselves. You are failed so you blame mainland's success. do we carry off your wealth? It lost by yourselves, not mainland men.
We just concerned on our development, if you have lagged behind, it can only be caused of your own disappointment.

Never mind the Japanese. They're too busy watching anime and are not reproducing anymore. China has always taken the long view and everyone knows the sun is already setting for Japan so all you gotta do is sit back and wait. In fifty years, Japan's population decline will wreck havoc on its economy.

As for the U.S., the best country in the world, we don't need to blame anyone for what we are and where we are going. We will continue to fight as many wars as we can because that is what our economy requires. We will continue to spend more on our military at the expense of education, infrastructure and social programs because we must maintain our thousands of bases through out the empire. And we will continue to promote regime change because it suits our self interest.

We will continue doing all this until we are broke. That is the way of empires and that is what we are. There is nothing China or anyone else can do about this. Our system cannot be changed because it is a reflection of our American character. We think we are better, smarter, more noble than everyone else and that it is our God given right and duty to shine our light on every corner of the Earth. We are so self righteous that we cannot even phantom why people might hate us so we pretend they must simply be envious of us. But you know what. We are still number one.

Japan's economy is a million times better than China's. The average Japanese lives waaaaaaaaaaaay better than the average Chinese and probably always will.

What you Chinese monkey's don't understand is that you don't have any type of domestic market. So in the event of other economies plunging yours will plunge too [it's what people call the "global economic market" in technical terms]. As you can no longer sell your low-quality, cheap, mass-produced items anymore; there are no buyers.

But understanding all this goes well beyond you nasty-looking ppl.

If Taiwan lagged behind so much, why do their people earn 4X as much as yours?

When CCP was about to free the whole China, Chiang kai-shek took money and valuables got from all the Chinese people to Taiwan.
Chiang learned a lesson from mainland fall, determined to develop Taiwan's economy with the treasures taken from Mainland.
It caused Mainland's porverty and Taiwan was in the chips, moreover, with the national wealth to build a province only, Taiwan is of course richer than mainland then.
the men who create wealth are just in a few, but the wealth need to be averaged to a large amount of people, so average for everyone will be so few.

How much are you claiming was taken?

How much would it have to be for you to still be earning under 25% of what their people earn?

I think there were many causes, besides lag of techniques, long time blockade was also important.

the development of China began in recent 30 years, while Taiwan as a little island, has developed for more than 50 years.

Because taiwan is small, so it's easy to develop, that's why the per capita GNP of Luxembourg is the highest.
China is very huge, and it has many many people need to feed, no matter it creates how much wealth, average to everyone is so few.

But China is still go ahead, in the near future China will become better.

Luxembourg has a high GDP per capita because it's a tax haven.

You're still living in the past. It's the domestic economy that sustained China through the 2008 global financial crisis.
