Are Chinese Lives More Important Than American Lives?

The Western press significantly covered the attack on 22 school kids in China sometimes ignoring the 30 Americans who were slaughtered dead. While the Chinese kids received serious slashes, everyone will recover and not one died. In contrast, all of the American kids won't ever recover because they are dead.
Were the Chinese kids viewed as more significant because of the coverage?

Blacks often argue the same complaint when their people are killed, kidnapped or hurt. Many times the press relegates their stories to the back of the pages and sometimes not at all, while Whites seem to garner front page headlines. And now with the rise of China we are witnessing the significance in reporting front page coverages of all things relevant to China and the Chinese while others are given less prominence.

True that! Whenever I go to Barnes and Nobles bookstores, all the mags like Time, Newsweek, Foreign Policy Magazine, NYTimes, Atlantic, Wall St Journal , etc always have China on their front page. It's all anyone ever talks about these days?

It makes for good reading, now you know why the man from Boise who is a VC has so much hatred and jealousy for China. VN very seldom makes the headlines.

That's true. No wonder haters gonna hate. They want attention too but Uncle Sam ignores them in favor of China. Happens every day.
