The CCP sucks and the people who defends this party are only prolonging future unforeseen agony for the people of China!

What is their to like about a regime that will not hesitate its own countrymen for the sake of power?

Tiananmen Square, Tibet, Great Leap Forward, Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, Let a 100 Flowers Bloom, Laogai (re-education camps), Red Guards, Gang of Four, Maoism, etc...

CCP created all these vocabulary words for world's consumption!

By Jack Cafferty,

It's Getting Ugly Out There.

.....
"The bottom line is that our government no longer works for us. The government works for the lobbyists who have had a big hand in influencing (if not helping to draft) legislation favoring not the average American citizen but instead big business: health insurance, pharmaceutical and oil companies, and defense contractors, among others. These are the guys who can make the kinds of political contributions that are needed to finance today's multi-million-dollar political campaigns."

The 19th President of the United States, Rutherford B. Hayes, had made an early observation back in 1881, when he said, "This is a government of the people, by the people and for the people no longer. It is a government of corporations, by corporations, and for corporations."

Citing problems that the US faces will rectify all the problems of China??? LOL

Dude, how laughable is that? If you want to discuss issues related to the US, you can do that on the US forum. Problems that affect China are the issues of the China forum.

That's called a tu quoque (you too) argument! Silly, childish people with no training in logic usually resort to that tactic!

A is also guilty of P.
Therefore, P is dismissed.

Thank God, China has a 'BENEVOLENT' dictatorship. Without this benevolent dictatorship China would never have come to where she stands triumphantly.

China haters: You can do whatever you want to try to change the face of reality. You can post negatively; you can knock your head against the wall; you can curse; you can woodde witch signs to send your curses; you can kick the tires of your car but none of your actions will change the RESULTS you and I see.

CCP is not Karl Max's communism. CCP is DengXiaoPing-ism. CCP is pragmatism.

A specious arguement.

All of the residents of the mainland ussually end up with the same refrain. What can I do? I can't do anything! T.I.C.!!!!!

As if they can even think about changing the political system. F'n give your head a shake. Communist cobwebs grow insidiously in the dendrites of your grey matter.

China and the progression of rights

By Geoffrey Howe
….
Ultimately China, the Chinese government and the Chinese people, will determine the level and scope of the rights and freedoms to be enjoyed. We in the West can support dialogue and offer encouragement. We can certainly continue to hold China to account for the promises it has made – and, in particular, the promise of the Beijing Olympics officials that the games would be “an opportunity to foster democracy, improve human rights, and integrate China with the rest of the world”. But equally, I believe, we have a duty to inform ourselves of what is actually happening in China - rather than relying on alarmist knee jerk reactions to China’s growing role – political as well as economic - on the international stage.

The CCP is like a disease or a parasite inside the poor nation of China! The Chinese Communist Party makes China the "Political Sick Man of Asia"; backwards, primitive and brutal.

And they will suffer this way forever, for the CCP will never reform or leave; it can only implode or be replaced. This is China's pathetic fate.

Poor China!

You're comparing social problems in a democratic country with the direct policy action of a totalitarian government! How juvenile is that? LOL

People in democratic countries are aware of our problems and admit to it. We always strive to improve our society by debating and tackling the issues. You CCP drones always sweep everything under the rug and deny that you even have problems.

Ever heard of 2 wrongs do not make a right! You should learn from the mistakes that the US went through and try to rectify those mistakes instead of using the West's mistakes as an excuse or defense for your own misdeeds and criminality.

How do you know the Chinese people are not aware of mistakes made in their country?

Do you speak for all the members of the CCP?

Are you a CCP leader? Is that how you can claim this "vast" knowledge of how they think?

How do you account for the drastic change from 1989 Tianmensquare incident to permits for protest zones during the Beijing olympics?

How do you explain the economic control during the Mao era to where China is now? Foreign business swarming the nation and improved standard of living?

If this country is indeed as backward as you claim it to be, than please answer ALL these questions with as reasonable logic as your out-dated mind would allow.

I'm quite certain I'm beating a dead horse here. If this government is so primitive and brutal, how do you explain the changes that have taken place over the last 50 odd years of the PRC's existence. Remember, the PRC's history is very short.

If you can name one country that has developed as fast as the PRC, go ahead. I personally am impressed with this country, but people like you apparently have major issues and hatred toward it.

"Changes in the last fifty years" were free of political brutality and ignorance?

I suggest more reading for you: I wrote 50 odd years and yet you cannot even requote me accurately.

You want to preach about the beauty and peacefulness of Canada and protection of Human Rights?
