Really China is one of the worst country in world where you are not allowed to take breath without permission. Until you are not belong to a Gang.
And most worst thing is that they think they are best but actually they are nothing without marketing support from other country.

over 1.34 billion Chinese had died for having no freedom to breath without the government's consenting. The story had made an international headline.

I live in China, I am not a member of a gang, I have no "guanxi" (influence/connections) and I have never had to ask anybody any favours let alone permission to breathe. But then I am law abiding. I have yet to find a city in China where I am not safe to walk anywhere in the city at any time of day or night. Can you say the same?

I did have a policeman shout at me once for jaywalking (walking in the road). Does that count as oppression?

That's too bad, because you are missing out in life.

By the way, Texas would be near the bottom of the barrel in living.

Houston, Texas would be No. 3 in Murders in U.S., having moved up in rank due to those refugees from Hurricane Katrina.
