in China, ANY restroom which is not a hole in the floor with footpads is a luxury restroom. Asia had been slow in adopting western toilets, and in many cases people did not know how to use them. there have been many reports of Asians standing on the rim in a crouch to use the commode, because they have been crouching and aiming all their life.

Its not that they do not know how to use it, but rather many consider it unsanitary to sit on a place with your bare bottom where someone else has seated on previously.

Hotel in China offers bathtub wrap, a plastic cover that wraps around the entire bathtub so the user would not touch anything others have previously used before. Something you don't see here.

Chinese are a superior race.

The shaolin monks proved that the meek people can overpower the strong and ruthless people.

The shaolin monks were and are great fighters and they are modest.

Chinese martial artists are people with determination motivated by compassion.

Sorry Jim, The Chinese do not know what a three 'foot' pole is, they use metric over there.

And Frankly, I have not said anything foul mouthed at all. i'm suprised you think so little of me. I'm only here to inform, as the masses( and sadly, I must include you as well) are blissfully ignorant..

To Edward Teach - I have been to the US many times. I honestly don't think the yanks have a problem with unsanitary conditions! Don't blame me for being foul mouthed at all.

Wow, Jim, Such Hostility!!

I Love Aussies. There the best to knock a drink back with.

I somehow believe you're really taking offense because you must be chinese. There is no offense intended. the story is of western toilets installed in the temple grounds. I have been to HK and I can attest from experience that the city is no pristine example of cleanliness.

No hostility as such! Just respect others as you would like to be respected. I have been to Singapore many times, the cleanest city state in the world and your words relating to the Chinese just do not tally up. I also know that the yanks do not like to be criticised. So better talk about respectful things. Shall we? Peace to you.

To answer your question. I personally would rather not eat refrigerated food. It completely destroyes the taste and texture of the food. I can tell by the taste how long a meat product has been refrigerated. Chinese prefer everything to be fresh instead of refrigerated. As to unwashed, most stall washes their food, or the pesticide in China will kill their customers.
