People are dying at the hands of lousy, communist Chinese! Who cares about the olympics? The olympics, among other things are just being used by corporate interests (mostly American) in an attempt to put a pretty face on the communist, torturous nation of China simply so they can justify offshoreing American jobs to a nation that endorses slave labor where low production on assembly lines means being executed! Wake up America, because if we don't put a stop to all of this craziness now, your children will soon be competeing in a job market with billions of chinese and indians (among others) and slave labor will be the way of the future whether it be here or China or wherever. You'd all better think deeply about it now! It's coming to a sweat-shop or corporate body-shop near you and your children sooner than you can imagine. This hosting of the olympics in China is a public relations campaign which aims at trying to dress-up China's bad image as we continue to send our jobs there. Think, now before its too late for our children!
Boycott the olympics as well as China! Here's a link to the US Olympic Committee contact page that they no longer publish on their main site. I guess they don't really want to hear from you. Please tell them now how you feel about supporting a communist nation which endorses death, torture and slave labor!

Lunatics are full of this forum. Americans, give up acting as bishop and god, you should not and can't do that.

I am so surprised that everyone is blaming China for Tibetan Riots. Have you seen with your own eyes about what is going on or just your emotion burst? Have you checked the wrong pictures quoted by western media these days? So base your story on truth and be professional as a liar.

They are upset because they were invaded and are occupied, etc, etc. Tibet is part of China now but only because China invaded and conquered in the 1950s.

They also picked this time no doubt to give the Olympics a black eye. It's not my fault...

Well, I live in Yunnan, next to Tibet. I see 1)peace on the street, Tibetans, Han, and a dozen other nationalities. 2) Outright lies on CNN, for instance, while watching CNN, in my house in Dali, Yunnan, China, the talking heads says CNN has been blacked out in China! I'm in China, watching CNN tell me I can't see them! What a lying bunch of trash these idiots are!

Not agreeing is reasonable. Opinions vary. Like the war. Some think its good, some bad. Thats honest. But lies! Thats another kettle of fish. There's a lot of anti-China based lies being deliberately spread, especially by CNN and BBC, as well as posters who have zero knowledge of the peoples and cultures, cause their heads are full of PC, knee-jerk rhetoric of the liberal variety. I can only conclude these people are scared to death, and are working hard, but in vain, to sabotage this great people with their wonderful culture. I hope it boomerangs back on them, right in the forehead

Bob,

I have no doubt it will....the Tibetan culture is in it's last gasps....30-40 years from now this Tibet thing will be no more. The culture will have been completely obliterated and/or assimilated.

Seems the Buddhist concept of impermanence applies even to Tibetan Buddhism...

So that compose your reason that they could report the wrong things and lies to the rest of the world?
Great!

Andrei,

I don't understand your response. It's not my fault the Tibetans are rioting. I think part of their timing was to damage the image of China and the Olmypics.

I'm looking forward to the Olympics. I especially like the gymnastics

culture assimilating each other all the time. If you hate culture assimilating, you may spend your life time to stop your KFC culture spread.

I don't see much Han Chinese culture in Tibet, but I did see KFC there.

and ... you may think about the native thing, ont only culture, but also native population will be no more in very near future.

I just can't understand why don't you clean your backyard and bedroom before you worry about someone else's bedroom.

What we hate for against CNN or other medias like CNN (sometimes our Chinese media also do this kind of things) is SELECTIVE JUSTICE and DELIBERATE NEGLIGENCE. As our Aussie guy: Alex noted, CNN could be as bad as People's Daily (but one thing I have to note, People's Daily only hide away the bad things, while CNN is creating fake things, though both are untrustworthy, CNN is more serious).

And one thing to put: We got Tibetan languages printed in bank note of China and we got Tibetan saga King Gesar translated into Chinese, will a genocide government do something like this?

Do you know in our history book, Tibetans are told to be ethnic group that share the same ancestors with Han Chinese? Why a genocide government claimed this?

Isn't the fact that KFC is in Tibet the fault of the CCP?
