In the global badmouthing campaign against China, the Philippines resorted to the trick of pretending to be a victim.
In fact, the Philippines is the country which dispatched navy ships and marines to harrass and capture unarmed civilian Chinese fishermen.
China cannot longer put up with it. Thus China sent to the Scarborough Shoal/Huang Yan Island unarmed civilian "China Marine Surveillance" and "China Fishery Administration" patrol ships to protect Chinese fishermen from the harrassment of heavily armed Filipino soldiers.
But in all Filipino propaganda, they call these unarmed Chinese administrative ships "PLA navy". That is wrong and is a huge distortion of facts.
China has been consistent in its practices - sending only unarmed CMS and fishery patrols against Filipino navy.
Hahaha you are making me LAUGH

I don't see anything wrong about the Philippines sending its ship to ARREST CHINESE ILLEGAL PROACHERS.

The Philippines action was IN ACCORDANCE TO INTERNATIONAL LAWS

THE PHILIPPINES HAS DONE IT BEFORE, THE PHILIPPINES HAS ARRESTED A LOT OF CHINESE, TAIWANESE, AND VIETNAMESE IN THE SHOAL SO WHAT'S NEW?

If CHINA wants to settle the dispute peacefully, then CHINA should say YES to the Philippines invitation to take the dispute to the

INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE (TO SETTLE LAND DISPUTE)

OR TO THE

INTERNATIONAL TRIBUNAL ON THE LAW OF THE SEA (TO SETTLE MARITIME DISPUTE).

BUT CHINA IS SCARED TO GO TO THE COURT

BECAUSE

CHINA knows that her chances of winning IN THE INTERNATIONAL COURT are about as likely as having a snowfall in the Sahara desert.

now you know why is CHINA Scared!

<quoted text>You fall into your own trap of (illogical) reasoning. That is why I wrote the sentences that you responded to.
First, not only one treaty is involved in this case. Do not ignore other facts please.
Second, read what the Filipino constitution says about your border. You always mention legal settlement and international court. The court indeed will assess your constitutional sources which clearly indicate that the Philippines does not own the Scarborough Shoal which is on the left-side of the 118 degree longitudinal line.
You keep blaming China of not going to court with you. Why would China do it? You tell China to jump. Should China respond by saying "How High?" Not only China would not. Russia, USA, and South Korea won't either in their cases of land conflicts. USA, though trying hard to help stir up trouble in the South China Sea, refuses to endorse the UNCLOS. Is it clear what USA has in its mind? Double standards.
What if a country is so silly to go along with the demand of another aggressor? More people will come over to tell them that their sovereign land is "mine" but not theirs. Someone refers this to "Filipino Mining."
Also, The Treaty of Paris OVERLAPS with CHINA'S 9 dash claim

So if you want to use The Treaty of Paris as EVIDENCE, then give some of CHINA and Taiwan's EEZ to the Philippines.

and if you say The Treaty of Paris is "LEGAL"

therefore, China's 9 dash claim is "ILLEGAL"

Your 9 dash claim overlaps with the TREATY OF PARIS.

Your 9 dash claim is conflicting with the TREATY OF PARIS.

So which one is legal then? The Treaty of Paris or your 9 dash claim? YOU can only chose 1. REMEMBER THEY ARE CONFLICTING.

AGAIN

The Treaty of Paris won't help CHINA win the case!

This is a very obvious sample of a technique on how to redirect and mislead when you're losing a debate. It's very clear, given by the facts presented by australonesian guy, that china really has no case so they therefore resort to bullying. The international laws are established to maintain order in this world, we have different governments with different sets of laws, that is why there is a need for mediation. Both countries will always say and maintain that they are right and the other is wrong, so how will this end? War? So that the stronger country wins?
Common sense dictates that if both want peace, then there should be a fair, objective and impartial body to hear their cases. What is wrong with that? Why won't anyone want that?

A clear distortion of facts. The Chinese fishermen were caught because they were poaching in Philippine waters. As seen in photos, they loaded their boats with a lot of marine wildlife that are supposed to be protected. A clear violation that is commonly called poaching. Who would believe that the Chinese marine surveillance and fishery administration boats are really just for surveillance and fishery and not armed?
The Chinese fishermen were POACHING in Philippine waters and the philippine navy enforced the law, that is the truth. Any sovereign country would do the same.

The 9 dash claim is a form TYRANNY. It is invasion in disguise. When the people of the world begin to realize this, it will be the downfall of china.

Examples of International Court Cases favoring EFFECTIVE JURISDICTION
3. Ligitan and Sipadan Islands (Indonesia - Malaysia)
In 1999 Indonesia and Malaysia took their dispute over the sovereignty of Ligitan and Sipadan islands off the coast of East Kalimantan province to the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The ICJ ruled in favor of Malaysia on 17 December 2002. Although neither side convinced the Court that it had clear title to the islands, Malaysia was awarded both islands based, in part, on its continuous administration of the islands. Malaysia did show to the ICJ “manifestations of state authority” over the islands, mainly in the 1930s while under British rule. Indonesia had not protested Malaysia’s actions until 1969.
