I found this news on how Malaysian police abused and humiliated a Chinese tourist... Why do Malaysians hate Chinese? do they really look down on us?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/44688...

I wanted to go to Malaysia when I saw their television promotion... seems very interesting, they claimed they are truly Asia...but after seeing the video on how Chinese tourists got humiliated and abused by Malaysian police, also some news about their immigration officers racist action toward Chinese tourists, I decided to go to Thailand and then to Bali...NO VISIT TO RACIST COUNTRY MALAYSIA!!!!

The malays muslim controlled govt always like to plays the racial card against the chinese and indians and blame them on almost everything.

the chinese holds almost 80% of the country economy like indonesia go figure why the politicians like to blame their incompetencies on other racees...the easiet way to control and convince the masses is to play the racial card.

the muslim malays are not that well off compared to other races but they r the majority.

but dun worry that much they depends too much on the chinese to run the economy. The indians on the other hand is the most discriminated and marginalised as they are not so influencial.Just last month there is this huge Indian rally called HINDRAFT criticising the government and asking for govt to stop demonilisihng indians temples and give equal benefits to the indians. its pretty big as the indians decide to send letter to british asking for queen E to intervene, they also send letter to UN and india PM. the govt are getting worried.

search wikipedia therea re tons of info there.

"methinks", it's not about malaysian chinese, it's about chinese tourists, from any where in this world... if malaysian police and immigration officers don't respect us, i will tell all of my friends that they don't need to go to malaysia... the country is sucks and arrogant! how dare they call chinese tourists as prostitutes instead of saying how sorry they are... then i guess we need to make them really feel sorry...!

its the same, the point is its racists towards other races. There are some in the govt have this racists and inferior mindset.

but like i say dun worry coz due to malaysia geographic location (located in asia, inbetween singapore and thailand) as racists as some of these idiotic politicians they cannot afford to be too extreme (after all they are pretty coward when come to the real fight). They talk about malay supremacay which is really stupid given the current world that no one is promoting any kind of supremacy anymore since the nazi. to do so is equivalent to extreme raciscsm. they been doing all kinds of idiotic things that makes the govt looks like a fool in the eye of the world. arrogant and boastful but no substance and cant do shitz. jealously and corruption runs high too/

ppl are not happy, even a portion of those educated and progressive malays do not like the current administration.

btw for the chinese tourist issue, its a huge headache to the govt. the malaysian chinese (overseas chinese overall) dun takes this kind of rubbish so kindly. the moment it happens its all over the news in chinese newspaper in malaysia, later singapore, hK, taiwan even japan media keeps showing the news condeming and criticising the malaysian govt. and when the news reached china there was a huge outcry.

it gets the govt so worried that it has to setup some promotional effort to ease tension and send some high rank officer to china to explain the matters.

china in fact had indirectly warned the visiting malaysian MP not to play the racial card too high and cross the line when some stupid MP raised the malay dagger in parliment and talk about malay supremacy.

stupidity to the core. try to imagine a counrty where the chinese and indian population combined is equivalent to almost 50% of the total population and with the economy controlled by the chinese these idiots MP wants to promote raciscsm and its supremacy.

The only conclusion I can draw is that many Muslim Malays in power feel their own inadequacy as a true hunman being. May Allah give them wisdom so they will experience "Awakening".

Malaysia is the only country in the world that apply discrimination in its laws toward minority Chinese and Indians. No wonder if they look down on Chinese people. It's their problem anyway, and it WILL BE their problem if they think that all Chinese tourists coming to Malaysia are prostitutes!!! I'll personally make it really their problems!

I've been in China for 20 years. And still have friends while in North America. I know that one of the reasons they hate the Chinese is:
The Chinese, as a proud culture, always likes to be in their own races. They hate foreigners/external people. They don't let others marry their kids or live with them, even when they are part of their family (like me), they alwasy treat them as "outsiders".
IN Canada, they have malls and shops, where they prefer to see the Chinese only. They discourage other races to enter their malls by posting everying in Chinese only.
Here, the businesses operated/owned by the Chinese, you'll find only the Chinese working, not a single non-chinese.

Often people misunderstand one another due to different cultural backgrounds. As a whole the Chinese are friendly and gregarious group of people. They are just like any nationals in my country except that they work harder and high achievers. I have no problems with them whatsoever. There are good and bad ones in every race.

Same in this part of the world. It is unbelievable that the Malays hate the Chinese. Most of the Malays are decendents of the Chinese, specially from the regions of east of the Guangdong Province and south of the Fujiang Province. Most Chinese would say that if you know how to speak either Hakka or Min Nam you can circle around in Malayia. You do not even have to know how to speak in Malay, or know Satoo Di-ga Umbark Li-maa. Hakka and Min Nam is good enough. What happened is perhaps only a sporadic incident where a Muslin Malay would have been involved.

Singapore separated from Malaya was for the same reason. Lee, Kwong Yiu, a native Hakka, from Mei Ju led to the separation. The Chinese simply could not stay together with some slow learning, not so hard working people and not so good as achievers. There is certain rivalry and hard feelings between the separated parts. Singapore a small but rich country if not defendable can always join China under the One Country, Two System, like Hong Kong. In fact Singapore was once the big sister colony of Hong Kong during the British rule. Hong Kong has become part of China because there was a treaty. But if Singapore get bullied by the northern neighbor she can at the snap of the fingers be in the union, she willing.

I agree with the above regarding the Chinese, this is partially true for the Vietnamese and several other Asian groups as well. However, the other groups will try to assimilate into the mainstream of their host country, while the Chinese would definitely refuse to assimilate. This causes a lot of discontent among the native population of the host country, and in turn this sentiment is being displayed toward Chinese tourists.

The Chinese are to blame. This attitude of refusing to assimilate or to be assimilated is what makes the Chinese racists. Chinese used to call or maybe still calling all non-Chinese as 'devil'. This they must change so as to fit in the world community.

I am from dubai and I knew people from both malaysia and china. in heart and for unknown reasons the chinese people hate muslims, and the evidence is the 50 milion muslim population in western china doomed to extinction. malaysian are snubs however and I observed their racist agenda (maybe because of their economic prosperity!).
there are many chinese people in dubai even got its own china town and streets of dubai rock with chinese prostitutes and business men, but there are no social link between muslims and chinese, I also witnessed the racist opinion of Chinese people who really look down on Muslims, the rich Chinese specially in European countries will not hide this feeling, the poor chinese who work in dubai or malaysia for example endure his bitter feelings towards the society he or she hate because they need the bread.
you will only be loved when you love others and link yourself to them in a friendly way. or stay and starve in your rural china while the rich Chinese prey on your soul.

There's always a bad egg amongst the force but that doesn't mean Malaysians hate Chinese!! I am a Malaysian and I am a Chinese. We have two days public holiday during the Chinese Lunar New Year!! I eat pork everyday!! I can go to church!! and my friends can go to the chinese temple!!! Don't fall for the western propaganda!!! In short it's 指鹿&# 28858;馬

Are you serious shit head??? who said people from other races can't be elected 10 years ago?? I have been living in Malaysia the whole of my life and we do have Chinese Finance Minister. The limit is just a Chinese Prime Minister!! Get the fact right. No doubts, there are limitations in Malaysian democracy but this has been dealt with through our election process esp the recent March 2008's election. You are barking at the wrong tree!
