Well he springs up again, this Person was given 9 years in 1994 here in canada for several sexual assaults against young boys. at the time he said that they had given consent. throw the book at him and let him die in jail down there in jail. at his 1994 trial he fought the charges tooth and nail and has never shown any remorse.

Mr Webster has been a sexual predator for years he likes and takes advantage of young vulnerable males usually from poor soco-economic backgrounds.He is cold ,calculating,and unremorsefull typical of dangerous sexual offenders.He took advantage of young islanders and only the ones who came forward were responsible for his conviction here in Canada..there were dozens of other victims ,but ina small place it is hard to come out and disclose without a lot of media scrutiny.I hope our good neighbours to the south take the appropriate action and make sure he gets a sentence that will remove him form normal society for a very,very long time.Although a well educated man I suspect he either refused or manipulated any type of rehabilitaion offered by the Candian Corrections system.As a Canadian citizen , upon conviction in the USA can he request to come back to a Canadian federal Correctional facility to only serve 1/3 yes only 1/3 of his sentence.So give him the maximum he can get..he will not stop abusing young males for his sexual pleasure...he is the stuff serial killers are made of....then again where has he been for the last 10 years??? as a former resident of Prince Edward Island and now living in Massachusetts, i am disgusted at this entire story. even though i live here LEGALLY, i am always questioned thoroughly at every border. how did this "man" get into the States????? i am embarrased at Canada's loop hole legal system and equally shocked at Homeland Security Officials who let him in.

This is former University professor. Is this the kind of people we have teaching University students.

Many of you should get your facts straight before you open your mouth. I am not defending what Webster did, but I have known him since I was little. He does have dual citizenship and can travel between Canada and the US how he likes. I do not believe Webster would have done anything to these boys although he should have known better to be in a car with them. He was in the States to visit relatives and try and help out a cousin of his that was on the wrong side of the tracks. For those of you who believe that the Canadian Correction Facilities did not try and do anything about Webster, you are completely wrong. He took part in all the programs that he was placed in and did very well in them and was stated being a "low" risk to reoffend. I am very disgusted at what he has done, but there was very little evidence to convict him the first time. The parents of these boys should be ashamed of themselves. There have been many times I was angry with my parents but I have never wanted to run away with an older man.

Do you have a teenage son? If so would you let hime stay overnight with Mr. Webster? This man is a predator of teenage boys plain and simple. Go ahead and defend him and blame the boy's parents if you want, but for whatever reason this man's brain is wired to hunt and molest children. All the rehab in the world will not change this fact.
