WISCONSIN ANTI-UNION LAW STRUCK DOWN IN COURT -

"Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s (R) legislation gutting collective bargaining rights for most employees was struck down in court Friday afternoon.
"According to The Associated Press, Dane County Circuit Judge Juan Colas ruled the law null and void for violating both the state and federal constitution.
"The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that despite Colas’ ruling, the law will remain in effect for state workers. City, county and school employees, however, return to collective bargaining conditions in place before the law went into effect in March 2011.

"The ruling comes after a lawsuit brought by the Madison teachers union and a union for Milwaukee city employees. A spokesperson for state Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen said the state is planning to appeal the decision.
"Walker introduced the law not long after becoming governor in February 2011, touching off a wave of protests in the state capitol not only by thousands of workers, but by lawmakers; the state’s 14 Democratic senators fled the state in an attempt to stop it.
"It was also revealed that Walker told local billionaire Diane Hendricks he planned to 'divide and conquer' unions. Walker would subsequently win a recall election held against him, earning him praise from Republican figures like Sarah Palin and current presidential nominee Mitt Romney."
Willard Mitt Romney says you're Middle class if you make between $200,000.00 and $250,000.00 Dollars a year,How many of you out here make that kind of money? Romney has no idea what most of us have to do just in order to get by in life..
Electro-Motive, owned by Caterpillar, moved out of Canada nad put their production back to Indiana....where the Governor signed into law that mandatory requirement for workers to join a union when being hired by companies that have unions is no longer required and workers cannot be forced to join a union.
This was very attractive to Caterpillar and they said goodbye to their Canadian workers.
The unions here need to wake up that the day of very high pay is over and manufacturing jobs are disappearing....big part is their own fault.
Americans need jobs and rightly so. I don't agree with all unionism for sometimes unions go to far...just like management can go to far and demand to low of wages. In this case, Americans are getting those jobs back because they agreed to much lower pay and kick out the unions.....those jobs have nothing to do with Obama's economic ideas.
The Canadian unions just won't bend...I think workers at Electro-Motive here were getting like $30 hr+.....workers in the US with the new Indiana law will get below $20 hr....all our unions had to do was agree to a little reduction....I think the American side went to low but that's the reason why these companies came back.
Caterpillar makes billions in profits....I don't agree with unions demading too much, but it can also go too far from management as well. The American worker is being asked for massive paycuts but big biz likes that.
