..... There is A LOT of pressure on politicians to REDUCE TAXES. As a result costs have to be reduced to keep taxes from rising, never mind reducing them.
..... There are costs involved in running any office, including visa offices, and usually costs go up and up and up.
..... If it would be possible to charge users of visa offices high enough entrance fees then maybe closed-down offices could be re-opened? They sell tickets to enter movie theaters, so why not sell tickets to enter visa offices?
