Really? How so? Children who have essentially been wards of the church have historically been abused. Not all mind you, but a good majority have. In most cases they were orphans. In this case, it was part of a govt program to "Whiten up" the Native population.

That kind of environment has serious potential to breed some major sociopaths and substance abusers, and not just for First Nations people either.
