I didn't read much on value added here.

What does this statement mean " deliberate, strategic approach" How does piping bitimen to Churchhill, or Valdez add value.

How did selling cheap oil to the US "government of Alberta and Peter Lougheed of the need for adding value in this province" improve Canada or Alberta's position over the past forty years?
