<quoted text>Rocky, the point I was making was that a single word in the English language can have many different meanings and uses, thus the posting of the complete definition. That is one of the reasons non-english speaking people find it one of the most difficult languages to learn. I think even your teacher will acknowledge that point. She is right when she indicates significant differences in the usages of some terms between Canada and the US but with the exposure we have to more American than Canadian content in our mainstream media, it is an uphill battle in maintaining our Canadian identity in respect to language. It is good that you discuss some aspects of dialogue from here with your teacher, but I wonder how she would react if you were to show her your entire posts. As far as your insults go, I don't put much stock in what a spineless wonder has to type on the internet so I won't be baited by adolescent jibberish.
She's not "my" teacher you dumb old-bastard. And no, our language and way of life here in Canada is not getting mixed with american culture. They have different ways of speaking in almost every state (accents and the slang words they use) and each section of the US are prejudice against certain people. The US is a shithole. So don't compare their culture to our culture. You think your a smart and mature person, when really your just a bitch that doesn't know is asshole from a hole in the ground. You said you would have beaten the drug dealer and inject him with his own drugs. Yeah right, the drug dealer would have kick the crap out of you, and bitch-slap you back to reality, then forcing you to kill him with a weapon. Does that sound familiar?

Your right Night Train, but why bothering explaining it to a idiot, he is a waste of time and skin. I find his antics quite amusing to read but would not waste my time explaining anything to the pigheaded ass. In many languages they do not have a word for some of our English ones.
I speak German, Spanish and English is my native tongue. I use to live with a guy from Switzerland and when his father came to visit he took an English course, but he still had trouble understanding a lot of what we were saying, too fast. Also as I said they do not always have a word in their language to match an English one.
This guy could understand Germans, but they could not always make out the Suisse German, that he spoke. And there is a low German that people stopped speaking when they immigrated to Canada and the US, when this generation dies, which is not far from now as many are old, and never taught it to their kids, well it will die with the older generation. Sad when people loose their language.
Ethan is a nice Irish name, and so is Zachary.
I did not go fishing I forgot I had another previous engagement. So hubby and grandson only went for the day.
It is hot here in Edmonton, but it is a lot hotter in Lillooet.
What a sad old bag. Nobody she knows wants to here about her pathetic and most likely "MADE UP" life. She doesn't post replys to me anymore cause I made her look like a fool everytime she did. She was forced to wipe the tears away (much like the nurses who wipe her ass daily) and give up because she finally realize what a degenerate scum bag dog face woman she really is. Ha Ha Ha!!!

Canadians I have found a lot to try to mould themselves into their American counterparts.
I agree our cultures are a bit different, but not that different, until you move into the deep south. Now they are different than most Americans in their talk, and ideals. I actually am mistaken many times for a southerner. I like that, I am proud of my American roots.
Our day to day life may not be much like theirs, but lots of our slangs are much alike, and that can be due to televisions input.

I know lots of Americans who love Trailor Park Boys.
And not all Canadians use the term "eh". I know I don't.
I feel that anyone who has to put others down, or their country, are ones that need to build themselves and world up to feel bette about it, and themselves. They must be really ashamed of who they are to stoop that low, or that is all they got.

You insulted Canada, Saskatchewan and Regina, but I post some true things about the United States, and your saying I'm low. Your so stupid, it isn't even funny anymore. It's outright pathetic. Your the one who said your ashamed of living in Canada. I never once insulted my country, I actually called you a piece of SHITT for dissing Canada. You must be senile because you'd remember, YOUR the low sack of crap in this forum. Your extreme old age is starting to cloud your ignorant and mentally challenged mind.

When one expresses one's opinion, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are proclaiming to be more intelligent or knowledgable than anyone else. Each of us has an asshole and an opinion, in a lot of instances the asshole is far more functional, but nonetheless although we keep our assholes covered and most would refrain from admitting they even have one, we are quite prepared to share our opinions. Some, like yourself, exposure the asshole aspect everytime they post their opinion. Not in the content of the opinion but in the delivery. If you cut your boorish insults, I am sure there are a number of issues that you bring up that are worthy of consideration and discussion. You can say what you like, I know what I would and can do, and what I have done in the past and anyone who knows me knows what I am capable of so I don't need to expound any of that on the likes of you. Continue with your juvenile foolishness if that is what turns your crank. Hopefully one day you will become so accustomed to believing the way you communicate in print is acceptable in person to person communication and you will receive your just desserts.

Night Train I am sure he already has. That is why he hides in his mommy's basement.

I will ask Ethan this question. Do they have basements in Regina, or are they bunkers?

I don't know. I don't spend a lot of time in Regina; Saskatoon is where it's at. If the home we moved furniture out of last week is any indication though, I would have to conclude that all basements in Regina are either bunkers or landfills in waiting.

Your the one who's hiding you ole smelly geezer. If you ever even seen kim walker, you'd piss your already urine soaked panties and hide in a garbage can for days, just to avoid him. harley honey, your a skid mark on the underpants of society and should be wiped clean by the good people of Canada. Curse you and your scaley hide. Ha Ha Ha!!!

Ethan, this is off topic but I see you live in Saskatoon. I've only been there once but had a blast. Great hospitality. I was up for a National meeting of the Ride for Sight and it was one of those things we had to fly to. Part of the entertainment aspect was planned to take us on a Toy Run but because we didn't have our bikes with us we'd have to ride "bitch". Redline Harley heard about it and provided the dozen or so of us out of provincer's new Harleys from his show room to do the Toy Run. He was one bike short and called the Yamaha dealer and he kicked in a bike as well. He wouldn't even let us wash the bikes when we brought them back. Can't ask for better hospitality and that is one beautiful city. This was in the late 80's or early 90's before Redline moved to their new building. I sing Redline's praises to anyone who will listen.

I hope you were not the one shamed into riding the jap crap Night Train.

Ethan thanks for the update. I was pretty sure I was right about Regina.

I have relatives in Saskatoon. And hubby was there last year, so I visited him there, still not very impressed with the prairies, too flat for this BC girl.

Night Train, have you ever been to the Thunder Run and Poker ride in Creston BC. I use to belong to the CVMA, but moved years ago. Really good group of guys.
This year I won't be able to make it the 100 Mile House Toy Run, too far away now. But I will as always send a donation.
We donate to childrens charities all the time.

No, I got to ride a 1200 sportster but wouldn't have been ashamed to ride the "jap crap". Have owned a lot of bikes over the years, Brit, Jap, Harley, you name it I've rode it. I have two harleys now and am not looking to change either one of them. Haven't been to any west coast runs. I've got a couple local charity runs I support but most others I stay away from. More damn charities than you can shake a stick at. Some bikers seem to think we have to continually do charity runs so the public can think better of us. I'm at the point in my life that I don't care what they think. I don't have the money to support all the charities so I just support a couple of the ones for kids and of course any brothers or sisters in need. Personally I ride for me not for an image. I don't do clubs anymore but I do support our local bikers. I'm sure you know what I mean. I'm not knocking those that come out to all the charity runs, who can fault anything that does good. It's just not my bag.

I hear you there, I support my local bikers too.

I have not gone to many 'runs' anymore either, a lot of brothers and sisters are gone now. But like you I donate to the childrens hospital. My son was 2 1/2 months premature, step son lost his arm when he was 8, and our grandson has a cancer, or tumor. So he uses the childrens hospital, bus, Ronald McDonald house etc.

My personal taste has always been chevy's only, and Harley's only.

I agree about the image thing, who gives a rats ass what anyone thinks.

My son is going to get a Harley this year. Talk about making a mama proud.

The club I use to belong to support AIM & MS.

I acknowledged that my post was off topic and I apologize for not toeing the line, however, "toeing the line" has never been one of my strong points. To get us back on track which party to the subject of the topic at hand should we slander all over again? Please respond soon as I don't want my thinking to become clouded by my drug of choice "tylenol".

Do you see how this stupid bitch proves how much of a Kuntt she is. This worthless old bag thinks only her idiotic opinion matters. And no, I don't post with other names, so like usual, your being the dogface troll you've always been to other people. Ha Ha Ha!!! Everytime you post, your proving me right, Wrinkles. You constantly prove what a complete waste of skin you are, and also, what a total piece of shitt you are. IN YO FACE GRANDMA! IN YO FACE! Ha Ha Ha!!!
